Staff were friendly parking out back - and easy access to room

Had we seen the room before paying we would not have stayed. Room was basic, poor quality and decoration tired. It reminded me of youth hostels I used to stay in in the 1990’s.

Very well priced clean and tidy

Room was OK and fine for an overnight stay. Quite noisy but it is a pub. Shame it doesnt serve food.

The staff where very helpful the room was clean and fresh linen eveyday but the room needs a bit of work the floor was very squeaky the toilet door wouldn't stay shut or lock and the hot water tap didnt work. Not really worth what i payed for each night.

Just what I wanted. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Good staff and so helpful

We stayed in a family room for one night. The room was decent size. The bathroom was small but the shower was good. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. The bar is nice too. There is a lot of noise from the bar until after 11pm, which we were warned about, and it was a Saturday so to be expected!

Not so good as it was band night, also they didnt serve food as advertised.

Staff were welcoming Space to park Room was clean Plenty of towels Window was wide open to took a little while to warm up A good night's sleep until about 6am when there was a strange ticking noise (possibly the heating) that stopped me falling back to sleep

Just what I needed for one night. Shower was a little cool, but I needed to get clean, not wallow!

Great pub. Lively atmosphere. Live music is still quite loud in the rooms until finish time 10/.30/11pm(?). If not your thing may be best to check if there is any music planned for the night of your stay. (My stay was Saturday night)After hours area is very quiet. Limited on site parking at the rear with narrow bays. Additional free parking on the road without issue. Food is available but I gather the kitchen keeps variable hours so if you intended to eat there may be best to check first

Due to an involvement with problems internationally, I tried to speak to the hotel about postponing or even cancelling. I rang three ( 3 ) times during the week before. The answer machine cut in each time, took my message explaining mitigating circumstances but the hotel never rang back, pure ignorance on behalf of the hotel and its staff. Not good business.

The room was dirty and beds where uncomfortable The beds seamed broken Shower was just full of mould and cheap furniture plus carpet not hooverd . Staff where freindly But i wont stay again .

Not clean. Didn't say as other members of the party checked in and out in a moment as it was so un clean with beds that looked slept in covered in hairs. The decision was made to not stay.
