Old fashioned vintage quaint setting in a friendly comforting atmosphere. Scenic views, and excellent pool setting on the apple tree filled valley. Lovely homely staff. Located midway between the town and slopes / party active area of Faraya. All with good value for money.

Nice view and good location, the hotel is just 10 minutes away from the restaurants and bars area. The rooms are spacious and clean but lack many things: fridge, airconditioning, microwave abd cups. The hotel includes a small pool and a room that contains billiard table, ping pong table and play station, but there are not many activities to do withon the hotel. The stafc was very nice and the breakfast was delicious and acceptable and it can be described as the typical lebanese breakfast. Overall I recommend this hotel but it's better to do outdoor activities during your stay such going out to take dinner or going to ski because it's a lityte bit boring to spend too much time in the hotel

Its location is excellent overlooking the whole valley, the entire hotel and rooms are so well heated, staff are extremely friendly special Layal, Cherbal at the reception and Mahmoud at the restaurant, they make you feel really at home. but toilet should have water pipe beside the WC for easy way of cleaning. Food at the restaurant is super so you don't have to worry off getting out in the cold to eat, you'd love the variety they offer. Me and my wife decided to extend our stay because the peaceful atmosphere we felt from the first night we arrived. Thanks for the good management to achieve that.

Its location covers the whole valley, the heating system is excellent, room is adequate, nice TV channels, but toilets should have water for cleaning.

Stayed at Chateau Deau Faraya with a couple of friends for 2 nights during January 2019 and we were extremely satisfied with the hotel and especially the helpful staff. The reception is 24/7 which was perfect as we arrived very late on our first night! All reception staff are extremely helpful have made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible including offering us late check out when we can back from skiing on Sunday afternoon! They arranged for Taxis and also helped us out with inquiries we had about skiing in Mzaar. The hotel is very clean and the beds very comfortable and the rooms are very cosy and very warm. Chateau Deau Faraya also has two restaurants (one lebanese and one sushi, cheese and charcuterie restaurant), and having eaten at both i would highly recommend both. NOTE: The hotel is close to the Mzaar ski slopes but by no way walking distance (especially with skis)! Taxis or transport from the hotel is required to get around and may be arranged. Taxis are approximately $10 each way. Would highly recommend Chateau Deau Faraya and we will definitely be back soon. Again many thanks to the reception staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

What a friendly group of staff, and such a cozy environment! The lobby in itself was super impressive, since it included different areas for different moods: a game room with TV, fireplace, and couches; a restaurant area with fantastic view and fireplace; a lounge/bar area with fireplace; and a billiards table to the side of the restaurant. The breakfast buffet included an array of cheeses and eggs, bread, and toppings. It was helpful that the hotel had taxis available for driving anytime, and people who could drive well in the snow. Our only bit of constructive criticism is that the staff could know a bit more about the Mzaar ski slopes (what is open, costs, rentals, etc).

Exceptionally friendly and hospitable team. While snow was stacking outside, they kept us warmly served inside and indulged every request. The hotel is newly renovated carrying a mixed vibe of modern and vintage. The kids loved the community space where our small group played games late into the night. Château d’Eau will be our automatic choice when heading back to Faraya again. Thanks for making our vacation a memorable one!
