Our family, including two kids were amazed by the hospitality of the hosts, cleaning was and warm atmosphere in this quite old but perfectly fitted house in the middle of old town of Provins. The breakfast was very special with high quality French food. The garden near the house was very private and relaxing. Very positive experience, thank you !

Great hosts

It was a super cozy room within a beautiful house. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and were very happy to share many local tips and recommendations for our stay (and gave us great insights into French culture and other traveling destinations). The contintenal breakfast was also very nice and included a yummy selection of french boulangerie and handmade mermelades. I fully recommend the property!

A delightful house in a delightful town. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming nor kinder. We were especially thankful for the plan of Provins and permission to leave our car even after we had checked out.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this superb B&B. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Jean Jaques & Francine are wonderful hosts, and are also very knowledgeable about what to explore in the local area. They gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was faultless. We would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely warm welcome from the owners. The house was beautiful with antique furniture throughout. The room was en-suite, clean and comfortable. The area was picturesque and had a lovely meal in the Punjab restaurant in the town centre.

This is a lovely gite run by a charming & helpful couple. There is a beautiful garden & two very well behaved dogs. It is close to the sights of old Provins & almost next door to the large rose garden. There is a good choice of restaurants including for vegetarians e.g. Italian, Indian and creperies.

We were delighted with our too short stay at Le Clos de Provins. The property is clean, quiet, and conveniently located near some of the major attractions of Provins. Hosts Francine and Jean Jacques went out of their way to help us with travel arrangements. They also served us a lovely breakfast, and made recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. We recommend them highly.

Great stay, enjoyed every minute

Beautiful property in Provins run by a lovely couple who makes you feel at home. The property is located in the heart of Provins and is walking distance from both the medieval part and the more modern part of town. Each morning, the hosts prepare a decadent breakfast that makes you feel like a king/queen. The place is spotless. There is also a beautiful garden in front of the house. I highly recommend it! My daughter and I had a wonderful time there!

We arrived at 11am to the B&B ran by Francine and Jean-Jacques (hopefully spelling their names correctly). From the moment the gate opened to welcome us, it was magical. The gardens were lovely, the 2 huge pups that greeted us were sweet natured and Francine and Jean-Jacques were charming and gracious hosts. They let us park our car, gave us coffee and o.j. and a map to explore the village until rooms were ready. Francine marked highlights on the map and called and made dinner reservations for us. We chose this B&B for the location which was superb. Everything was walkable within 15 minutes or less. We came back later to checkin and our rooms were adorable. We had 2 rooms next to each other. Ours had a king bed and the other room a queen for our 10 y/o daughter. The bathroom was in our room and was very modern and clean and filled with all kinds of lovely bath products. The rooms were very nice and quaint, linens and beds quite comfortable and the furniture in excellent condition. I'm kind of picky and I was very pleased with everything. The best part was breakfast. It was spectacular and made from the heart! From the pressed butter (plain and salted) in the butter bells to the homemade marmelades and yoghurt, fruit salad, waffles, warm milk for the hot chocolate, selection of bread and pastries, pressed linen napkins and adorable dishes. It was very beautiful and delicious, prepared at exactly the time requested! What a sweet couple who obviously strive for excellence!

Séjour extrêmement agréable dans un très joli lieu. Literie très confortable, petit-déjeuner délicieux, hôtes charmants et accueillants, nous avons apprécié pouvoir discuter un moment ensemble et les recommandations données pour visiter Provins. Le Clos de Provins est par ailleurs parfaitement situé pour explorer la ville à pieds. Allez-y!

What a wonderful find! As others have said, the Clos de Provins is a delight as are its charming owners, Francine and Jean Jacques (and their two gorgeous dogs) The property itself is lovely and perfectly maintained and our room was perfect. A very nice breakfast is provided and the location is ideal to explore beautiful Provins. We had a nice dinner at Table Saint Jean as recommended by Francine. Most highly recommended
