Great location in the heart of Porto, we were a quick walk away to the main city centre. Room was spacious and clean. Note the room is only cleaned every two days but we requested fresh towels and they were delivered quickly. We had an issue with our safe and the hotel was responsive and sent someone to fix the issue right away. Luggage storage was provided which was very convenient. Only thing to note is this hotel does not have an elevator so if you are travelling with large bags I would suggest requesting a room on a lower floor. We did not select the breakfast as it seemed overpriced and instead walked to a local cafe that opened early a 3 min walk up the street.

Location is excellent. A roll of paper towels would be nice. Access to more coffee would be convenient. But excellent coffe nearby

Bad experience . We were never given email instructions for check in and ended up stranded in the street (it’s a self-checkin property). There was no email or phone number for me to call landlord ahead of time to receive check in instructions. Tried phone number on the door when we arrived - no one answered. Received a call back three hours later but that was too late. It was getting dark and we needed a place to stay We had no choice but to find another hotel at 5pm which cost a lot of extra $ and stress. I’ll never book a self-check-in property again.

There was no communication from this property once we were there. There was no daily housekeeping throughout duration of stay - despite reservation clearly stating there would be. We were there for 3 nights with no change in towels, bedding or even toilet paper.

The place is close to downtown Porto. It was a little difficult to turn on the light.

The stay would have been perfect had Casa Rosa not asked me that I pay cash (199.50 €) for the 3-day stay. I was surprised as I had made the reservation with my US Visa card and there was no mention of this form of payment on Hotel.com website. I requested a payment receipt to be sent to my e-mail adress, since they were unable print it on the spot. As of today (3 days later) I am still waiting for the receipt.

Very spacious compared to rooms these days.My husband and I had travelled the last two weeks and found this was one of the larger rooms we stayed at for this price. Maybe there is mention of a kitchen but I was very surprised to have one. The breakfast was very good and the woman that served us was very good of explaining where the sights are. Also very quiet area. The only one item I’m not used to is having a code to enter instead of being checked in personally. I understood the code but took me a couple tries to get it right. It was a long one. And if you can’t get in, then your stuck. Anyways very enjoyable.

I really liked the staff who were so friendly. It was very quiet and in an excellent location. The breakfast was excellent. There was a weird thing with the TVS, when you turned one on, it turned the other one off or switched the station - wiring problem? When lying on the floor to do exercises, I could smell cigarettes.

This is an excellent place near downtown. Breakfast is good and simple. The only concern is no parking place and will cost you $9euro per day and 3minutes walk.

Good location, spacious room, host was very helpful, breakfast average, host gave us tourist info.. Walking distance to Railway Station (luckily)- a national taxi strike called in Portugal the night before we left (no mention of it by the taxi driver when caught a cab late the night before back to room). Had connecting flights from Barcelona to Australia next day. The host did try and contact us the night before by phone and email. Was a little hesitant after booking the apartment without on-site reception, which did turn into a very stressful situation for us at the end. Maybe consider implications when booking somewhere without 24 hr reception, on-site assistance and no contact phone number for the host (only an email). If you know your way around Porto this apartment would be no problem.

Enjoyed our stay. Although the room was small it had great amenities. Breakfast included and was good value. Hosts were very accommodating.
