Richard was a wonderful host from beginning to departure. The room was a splendid travel back in history yet all the touches needed for a modern trip away. Thank you Richard for allowing us to share your wonderful home .

Amazing breakfast, gracious host

The host was welcoming and entertaining. The house and garden were lovely. The bed was beautiful and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

A hidden gem in Bath! This house is so interesting and beautiful. The host is gracious and kind. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night.

We had a wonderful time. We’d highly recommend. The bed was very comfortable. There was wine, cookies, coffee & tea in the room each day. The room was cozily decorated. The bathroom was large, and the tub wonderful. Richard the host was fabulous! So entertaining and charming. The continental breakfast was sumptuous, with many choices including wonderful porridge. We recommend staying here if you are visiting Bath.

This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The owner was gracious and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the beautiful dining room just made the whole thing magical. It wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an experience. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Bath. *The only note I would say is not suitable for anyone who can’t walk a lot of stairs*

This was a lovely experience with a wonderful taste of England. The breakfast that was included was wonderful. A beautiful array of fruit, danish, yogurt and other wonderful options. Well run by a friendly and interesting gentleman.

Lovely old building, exactly as described. Really friendly knowledgeable host. 20 minute scenic walk to town and frequent busses right outside the building. I would happily stay again and recommend. Nothing to grumble about.

The history of the property was very interesting and our host Richard was brilliant and knowledgeable and would definitely recommend it

Really lovely place, very well looked after and the man who runs it is a really nice happy guy. We only stayed for 1 night but we stay longer next time.

Pristine rooms , a warm reception and a breakfast room that takes you 200 years back in time. 100% recommended . You’re missing out if you’re in Bath and not staying here!

Truly a unique experience would not hesitate to stay again.However those less mobile may have concerns over the steep flight of stairs to the top rooms

We had such a lovely stay! The room was beautiful, warm and comfortable. The bathroom was very luxurous and the breakfast in the morning was delicious with fresh fuit and a beautiful homemade compot. We will definitely stay again!

Our host was so helpful in helping us arrange transportation and giving recommendations. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Be prepared to walk up steep stairs in case that is an issue for you. The location was an easy 1 mile walk to the town center

A beautiful and impressive house with a friendly and welcoming host who had lots of interesting stories! We appreciated the complementary wine, continental breakfast and much needed umbrella! Our room was beautiful with a super comfy bed - highly recommend.
