Great and lovely place hidden in nature. Comfortable and clean 2-floor chalets, polite personnel - they raised our chalet tier for free and made a cozy fireworks when we asked. Strong recommend.

We had the best few days at Train View Chalet. Nothing was too much trouble and we experienced Sri Lankan hospitality at it's best. The food was plentiful and tasty, the rooms lovely and going to sleep to the sounds of running water and wildlife outside was so soothing. There were beautiful gardens everywhere and so much wildlife and animals too, which our little boy loved. There's even a natural swimming pool which was SO refreshing. Excursions are easily arranged and were so great.

For the second time, we met again like friends. Once again, we felt completely comfortable and are already looking forward to the next time. The organized tours were always well thought out and perfectly tailored to our four children. Thank you for everything and see you soon.

We spent 2 nights here and the service was very good. Although the room didn't have a minibar the room and the facilities were clean, and the food was tasty. Their Sri Lankan breakfast was good, and for dinner options were also good. For the price it's definitely worth it, and you can watch the trains passing by from your room or from the restaurant.

Tremendous experience in the train view chalet. The place is wonderful, peaceful and ideally located for sightseeing. The staff is willing to make you comfortable all the time and so is the manager. Food is also amazing (bravo au chef). Fit very well for children as well (rabbits, guinea pigs, fish pedicure, train passing by several Times a day). A must do if you are in the area.
