I will express my frustration and disgust with the condition our place was in upon checking in last week. The place was in a layer of dust, grime, and filth. dishes are dirty with old food crusted to them, greasy film across stove and counters, no privacy in 2 of the bedrooms (that was NOT disclosed) due to half walls and pull shades to block the gap & the doors didn’t securely close, mold in a bathroom where water soaked into the wall, found old food under the couch when it was moved. This was completely unacceptable- I didn’t even want to stay but we couldn’t find other accommodations to fit us all. I should NOT have to clean a place upon my arrival! Especially for the $$.
I reached out via chat and was told this would be escalated but I have yet to hear from anyone. The communication is terrible. There was no one at the property so you have to resort to chat through the app or dig for miles to find a phone #. You never get an immediate response through chat- sometimes it took hours.
I’ve given them ample opportunities to rectify this and the continue to ignore my complaints.
