Absolutely STRONG 10 out of 10! Fantastic place to stay with Clare and Paul being so passionate about their home and their guests. Brilliant to chat to them to book and arrange one of their fabulous spacious rooms and arrange one of their special supper dinners. Food is ~90% from their own amazing market garden and Clare is such a great chef with a range of flavours and local produce. Paul was a fabulous host keeping us feeling special and lucky to stay in their homely home. Our room was very, very spacious, with a great shower, beds were so comfy we slept like logs. Everything was well thought out and just loved being there. We will now keep this as a regular place to stay Thank you Clare and Paul for a fabulous stay.

Our stay at Lancaster Barn was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The property is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed and impeccably maintained with so much character and attention to detail. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and comfortable, offering the perfect balance of traditional charm and modern comfort. Every little touch showed how much care the hosts put into creating an unforgettable experience including natural eco toiletries, eye masks, sleep mist and homemade flap jacks! Breakfast was prepared with locally sourced ingredients and cooked by Clare (and it tasted delicious!). The garden was well maintained, landscaped and the plants were beautifully managaged. You can even buy plants to take home! What truly sets Lancaster Barn B&B apart is the hospitality and a strong ethos of sustainability, local sourcing and supporting good causes. We were very sad to leave and are already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a truly luxurious and memorable getaway, Lancaster Barn is an absolute gem!

April 2026. We spotted The Barn while looking for a stopover on our way up to and around Scotland for a 4 week tour. Brilliant choice. Claire & Paul should be very proud of what they offer. Excellently appointed accommodation with furniture and fittings beautifully hand crafted. Very clean and comfortable and topped off with a very nice supper. Many thanks for something a bit special. Having arrived early we first visited Glasson Dock and had a pleasant walk around.

You MUST experience this incredible B&B. From the minute we arrived, to the minute we left we received exceptional service and felt truly relaxed. Clare and Paul were so kind and helpful. The extra touches like homemade flapjack were truly appreciate. The breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice on the menu. Thank you so much. I would recommend to anyone.

B&B's are not what they used to be, I love this place. Clare and Paul are wonderful hosts and have transformed this barn into fantastic accommodation. We stayed in for the evening meal of a sharing platter of produce from their own garden washed down with a local gin and tonic. Our room was lovely to walk into, the bed comfortable and the bathroom large and modern. Such a shame we were only staying the one night. Thank you for looking after us so well.
