The room was very nice and clean. The buffet for $15 was expensive for powdered eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and fruit. The food was not hot, but lukewarm. Very disappointing

Amazing spot, beautiful remodeled.

Even though my stay was just a stop along a road trip, I very much enjoy staying at the Cyrus. The rooms are clean, well decorated, and meet all my needs. I love that they are dog friendly and that there is convenient (and free) on-street parking even in the heart of Topeka downtown. I have stayed multiple times before and highly recommend to anyone going to or passing through Topeka.

Our first time to Topeka and although it’s a holiday weekend, it seems very quiet. The hotel itself is nice.

We had an absolutely lovely stay. The staff are so nice and provided the best service we've had in years. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is great - we had several meals there. We enjoyed the convenience of the downtown location as well.

Second time staying at the Cyrus in Topeka and I really like this place. Older hotel that is done really well and makes you feel like you are staying at a classic hotel. If you get a corner room with window views it is just awesome.

Stayed one night with my family. Very much enjoyed our stay everything about it was great, we will be staying there again next time we are in Topeka.

If traveling with small children I do not recommend. The hotel wreaked of marajuana. The transients out side of the hotel screamed obscenities while walking my family into check in. Made us feel very uncomfortable and we felt unsafe.

Per hotel info on Expedia's web site a "parking on site" is listed as a feature and is likely a misinformation. Hotel parking is actually in the adjacent building on levels 8 and above. It is necessary to take an elevator, then stairs and then go through not so picturesque poorly maintained area, and then go around the hotel building to the front entrance if you do not have a room key yet.

No breakfast available

If you don't want to pay to park in the garage you have to move your car every 2 hours and have to be gone from your parking spot by 10am or risk getting a ticket. Unfortunately, many many vacant stores on main street in Topeka, no shopping opportunities.
