Great staff.

Great service and food

Comfortable, clean accommodation with good food served at attached restaurant. Good service & friendly staff.

We’ve stayed here previously as it is central to family members who live in the area. The pub attached serves delicious food and it is where reception for the rooms is. Fun was to be had with the holy card on the door, you had to tap three times. Decor is a little tired, but the room was clean and bed was comfortable enough for our liking.

Our stay was absolutely lovely. What would have made it perfect was if there was a toilet brush in the bathroom.

The room was basic but comfortable and provided everything we needed. The location was excellent, perfectly situated for our purpose. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food choices were excellent, good value and tasty. Our only complaint was the loud noise coming from the air conditioning unit attached to the bar/restaurant, we had our window open for fresh air and the unit was quite loud. However, despite the hotel being near a busy road we heard no road noise. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Great stay place fab food gorgeous

The staff were helpful, polite and actually listened to customers. They seemed to genuinely care about providing customer service. The Expedia website lists the Gamston lock as 0.19 Miles from the City ground, (which is why i booked it for the Football and being close) However reality is that it is located 3.8 miles away. not sure if this is Gamston lock capitalising on match day traffic or an expedia anomoly, just be aware. I highly reccommend the Gamston lock Inn. Great food and beverage, very clean and good size rooms. great bedding and a good nights sleep.

Spacious room and extremely comfortable bed. It was also lovely and on the whole quiet, even though fairly busy with people coming/going, no door closers banging which can be the norm in other places we’ve stayed. Only one disturbance was the early morning delivery - clanging barrels at 7am - but our room was directly in front so probably seemed louder than if you had room further away. Generous check in/out times and breakfast served to 11am which was fantastic. Lots of car parking spaces and in easy distance to West Bridgford where we were meeting friends. Will definitely return when up in the summer!

Warm welcome, full introduction of amenities and area, even help with local bus service. Room spotless and warm. Breakfast excellent; incredible value.
