Very rude and unethical people,non challant and extremely dirty toilet. Room service will clean and make one side of the room and leave the rest unattended… They did it the first time,we thought it was a mistake but repeated same yesterday ,means that’s just who they are. The first thing my husband said upon our checkout was how extremely unprofessional the people were. It’s really sad and left a bitter taste in my mouth .

Excellent and stellar on reception really went to extreme lengths to ensure my stay was perfect she deserves 10/10 and the hotel itself was perfect no faults, it’s also less than 5 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly perfect location

Issues with noises at the property. high pitched noise coming from an ethernet cable plugged into the phone. Loud noises day and night from pipe work / air in the pipes type noise. Poor sleep as a result.

Stayed here for my birthday. The rooms are arty and dark, gorgeous interior. The front desk receptionist had 2 glasses of complimentary champagne sent to the room which was a lovely touch and I had a ‘happy 30th birthday’ plate in the room which was covered in fruit and chocolates. The only let down was the breakfast, for what you pay for it was minimal, wasn’t very hot and a very slow service. It wasn’t too busy so would have expected a faster service.

The second you step into the Dakota you feel a warm presence with extremely polite staff. The hotel interior is fantastic and screams first class. I used to stay at another 5 star further down Deansgate for years however I've found my new go to! The room was exceptional and very spacious. Room furniture was very plush, tv channel offerings were more than the usual and the bathroom was excellent - the provided toiletries were of a nice brand and featured underfloor heating. During my stay I ordered room service - the quality was nothing but excellent, the house burger was up there with one of my best, the side dish of short rib mac n cheese was also outstanding. For the first time in ages I really didn't want to call an end to my stay - I will definitely be booking at the Dakota again for my next Manchester stay.

We stayed at the Dakota Hotel for our anniversary and while the hotel itself is undeniably stylish, there were a few disappointing aspects that didn’t match the standard being presented. The interiors are beautiful and the overall atmosphere is lovely, especially for a special occasion. The room was clean and comfortable, and staff were polite and welcoming. However, the parking was a let-down. The car park felt quite scruffy and poorly maintained, and having to pay extra for it didn’t feel justified given the condition and the price point of the hotel. More importantly, the lack of basic amenities was surprising. There were no robes, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, or even a hair dryer provided. For a hotel that markets itself as luxury, these are fairly standard expectations and their absence was noticeable. Overall, while the hotel looks the part, it doesn’t fully deliver on the details you’d expect at this level. With a few improvements, it could be a much better experience.

Amazing check in, the room was exquisite. We stayed in a signature suite. Spotlessly clean. Missed breakfast even though we'd paid so can't comment on the food.

Amazing experience! I guess it’s the first time that actually the hotel photos make justice to the real thing. I would definitely return in my next visit to Manchester. The only thing that need to level up is the variety and a quality of the breakfast menu.
