Value Hotel Balestier left a very positive impression on me. Although it is a 2-star hotel, the reception staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with anything I needed during my stay. I was also very pleased with the housekeeping staff, who were warm, helpful, and always greeted me with a smile. One staff member even kindly helped me figure out how to turn on the hot water when I first arrived, as I initially thought the bathroom did not have hot water. While breakfast was not included and the air conditioning in the room could not be manually adjusted, these were only minor inconveniences. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Value Hotel Balestier is a great choice for anyone looking for comfortable and affordable accommodation in Singapore.

Stayed in a deluxe double room for three people, with an additional bed, a fold-out sofa bed, which was quite comfortable. The room had a refrigerator, a safe deposit box, Wi-Fi, and a bidet in the bathroom. The room was cleaned daily. The hotel also provided a drinking water dispenser near customer service, saving on bottled water. Access from the hotel was easy. The only downside was that the room wasn't soundproof, but it was still okay and not too noisy. I'd stay here again if I ever come back to Singapore.

It is a wonderful hotel to stay. Location is good, near the plaza and easy to find places for eating.

Walk 5 steps to the bus stop, close to the shopping center and food center.

I booked a superior room with a window and a king-size bed. I was very satisfied because the room was larger than the windowless rooms. The room included a wardrobe, a refrigerator, and a safety deposit box. The location was right in front of the bus stop, making it easy to get around. I would book this hotel again.

Good service, only the room lights kept going out in the middle of the night, but the response was fast.

The receptionist was very kind and didn't ask many questions. We could even check in early without any fuss. I was just a bit unhappy with the housekeeping. We asked for help setting up the small bed because we booked for 3 people. And she slammed it down without even saying sorry. Then the extra bed was NOT A BED but a folding sofa that was really uncomfortable. The toilet, oh my God, is sooooo small, it's bigger than my boarding room's toilet. It's only 1.5m x 1.5m. But overall it's OK… because access to the hotel is easy because it's very close to the bus stop. If you want to go out, the bus stop is in front of the hotel. If you go back to the hotel, you just have to cross a short distance. If you're on a tight budget, you can stay here.

For those interested, the room has no windows, is just big enough to sleep in, isn't very new, and isn't particularly clean. There's a musty smell in some areas. It's suitable for those who prioritize sightseeing outside the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and provided good service.

This budget-friendly hotel is clean, comfortable, and has friendly staff. There's a cafe right in front of the hotel with a great menu. Accessibility is easy.

The TV was broken, so we ended up using the slow lobby Wi-Fi. The app said we could get a free standard double room for two babies, one and five years old. It turned out we had to rent two rooms/upgrade... How could this happen? Finally, we were tired and upgraded again.

Near to the airport and easy to get to the food area

The hotel location is strategic. In front of the hotel is a bus stop, also across from the hotel is a bus stop. There are plenty of bus numbers and destinations just by bus. Beside the hotel are also small cafes and stores.

Relatively affordable prices, close to the MRT, and easy access to food (close to halal restaurants).

The staff are very friendly and accommodating when we first came in. The front office lady was really nice/friendly and helpful when we told her that I need to have a stable and quiet room for my government on-line exam for the next day. I met a Toraja girl who happened to work here. She is very helpful and friendly. She cleans our room and makes us feel at home. I am very 😁 happy! The technician guy also very quick to help. Thank you very much dear staff, we definitely will come again and stay in your hotel if we come to visit our family here in Singapore! You are the best! May God bless you all.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful during check-in. Check-out was no different😍🥰🙏😘. The hotel's location is great, with a shuttle bus right in front, making it very easy to get around😍. The rooms are also soundproofed, even though they're close together, so you can sleep soundly.
