Short stay at Mutiara Malioboro My husband and I get a few things that are less wearing. 1. The room I ordered (Deluxe room) does not match the picture listed in the application. 2. The ambience of the room is very dark, including the gloomy bathroom lights. Room carpets are not properly maintained, so there is a bad odor throughout the room when checking in. Coupled with diplopon leaks that are not renovated properly (there are holes and residual stains left out) 3. Room facilities that cannot be used for example broken water boilers, room cards that always decline with a door locking system, electrical plugs that cannot be used (only one that can be used which is located on the console table), AC rooms that can not be reduced because it seems broken. 4. Clean towels, but it seems less suitable to use because the color is no longer white. The pillow had some stains that seemed to have not been cleaned for a long time. Our most epic and disgusting disappointment was at breakfast, we sat on the hotel restaurant sofa. Just after we finished, my husband jumped off the couch because there was a fairly large mouse (not a rat) coming out of the couch we were sitting on and the mouse touched my husband's elbow. Because we did not want to make a commotion in the morning, we decided to go straight back to the room. Dear a thousand dear, because the hotel staff & employees are very, very welcoming and friendly. Moreover, the location of the hotel is very strategic in the middle of Malioboro, but in my opinion, it's not worth it to stay here even for a short stay. Very disappointing. Not recommended.
