The hotel has a very good position by the beach, the view from the restaurant whilst having breakfast was a great way to start the day!

Everything was very good, a true 4 star hotel! Breakfast was wonderful, had more than we could imagine!!! Staff at breakfast very friendly and attentive.

Like many hotel rooms in Spain and Portugal the ventilation in the bathroom was poor and there was some mould.

The best stay of our trip. We had over a dozen hotel stays, with this as our favorite. The facilities are awesome and the staff were great.

Right on the beach which is nice, not much else nearby.

Great beach and surfing location. Food was great. Bar and restaurant were well catered. Our room was nice but the twin room was a double. Big but single big mattress and single covers. Otherwise great

The hotel is in an ideal position for walks on the wonderful white sandy beach and in the national park, by the river.The seaview from the balcony was stunning and it was quiet at night to ensure good night sleeps.The hotel grounds and facilities, including breakfast and the pool, were amazing. The ocean is breathtaking. Everything is spotless. The staff are friendly and most helpful. On the downside, a little limited for shops and choice of restaurants close by. I was disappointed with the quality of evening meal in the hotel. The Pizzaria was a much better option but closed on Mondays. Horus restaurant was also good. Taxis are very reliable and you need them to go to Porto or other places. Overall, I was very much impressed and came back refreshed. I highly recommand this hotel for a mesmerising holiday.

not a 4 star at all. totally run down property. weather is very cold even in july. Food: very limited breakfast. bare minimum. nothing to do around broken sofa bed do not stay

We stayed for a night off-season whilst doing the Camino Portuguese. The hotel seems to be mid-upgrade: the room had clearly had a thorough refit with box-new towels. Other parts of the hotel looked a bit more dated, but it was clean and tidy. One thing we were surprised to see was a 4-lane 10-pin bowling alley - a fun diversion for our evening.

Staff & breakfast were excellent! Beds were like sleeping on a board. Surfing lessons available at nearby surf rental place was a plus.

Nice hotel, but in need of a bit of refurbishment (we had to switch rooms because the sink drain was not working). Very good bed and bathroom. Very nice pool and good proximity to beach, but beach was a bit difficult to access. Property was loaded with tour groups, which overran the restaurant.

Very nice place. Close to the beach. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good restaurants by 5 minutes drive
