We loved staying here. It is in a lovely location right on the canal. The customer service was exceptional. I left an item there and they helped me get it shipped back home to the US. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, all around. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice little hotel, in a quiet area on a canal. The breakfast was very nice, and I appreciate them having a small amount of drinks and snacks available for sale in the lobby.

Great hotel, only a short 10 minute walk from the Amsterdam central station. The rooms are a bit small but well appointed and comfortable. For my last visit I was travelling with 2 others. It was rare to find a room with 3 separate beds. Our room also had a canal view which was nice. I would recommend the Singel hotel when visiting Amsterdam and would stay here again.

This is a straightforward hotel which is a good value. Had a double with a canal view. Good room. Great view. Helpful staff. Great location. Note on a previous review. The review said the elevator was small and the reviewer was concerned about large bags. The elevator had a capacity of 9 persons and 800 kg unless you have a giant steamer trunk there will be no problem.

Location is great, close to every place. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was very fresh and good, much better than other hotels.

Great proximity to the heart of Amsterdam centraal, but quiet at night. Staying in a 17th century house is ...historic, so we were happy with how clever the room was designed to accommodate two people comfortably. The bathroom was clean, breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is great value for money.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The location can't be beat - right on the Singel and walking distance to basically everything. The staff were superb and very friendly. The room was comfy, clean, and modern. The optional breakfast was great, and well worth it. I will definitely stay here again!!!

Exceeded expectations in charm, cleanliness and gezelligheid. Excellent location a bit noisy as you are on a canal in the centrum but it didn’t bother us as we are from a big city. We had gorgeous canal view from our bed! Pay close attention to room sizes and facilities and you won’t be disappointed. It’s all listed here or on trip advisor. All staff was lovely and helpful a particular shout out to Genato (spelling?) who was so sweet and kind. We will be staying here again.

Clean rooms, comfortable bedding. Bathrooms a little - basically a shower closet with sink and commode.

Room was very clean, staff pleasant and helpful. A few minutes walk takes you to the center of activities, shops, supermarket, red light district, etc.

As always this hotel is great. The rooms are clean and all the hotel employees are fantastic! Zero complaints here.

It done what needed to be done, in which we had a comfy bed, tv and bathroom. Nothing spectacular however you don’t spend much time in the room. However the only issues we had, were the bathroom door had a dent/hole in the wood as if someone had punched it and the bathroom door would not lock. A pillow which was on the bed had a hole in the cover but nothing major.

The single room was compact but had everything I needed , situated on a quiet street but yet still close enough to nightlife , I didn’t have breakfast during my stay but I’m sure it’s nice , the staff were very friendly and helpful, great location for the train station and easy of access for walking around the city,
