Excellent breakfast and service

A perfect stay from start to finish. The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. There was plenty of room to relax. We had wine in the evening at the bar, which was lovely, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. Everything was fresh and plenty. The service was so friendly it was a wonderful way to start the day. I truly hope to return again.

The breakfast selection was excellent and the service was wonderful. The hotel itself looked old and needing paint updates from the outside but once inside it was well kept, clean, noticeably updated and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. I’d like to note that seniors might find the bath tub a bit high to step into in order to shower. Also it isn’t easy to locate despite the huge frontal area of the hotel. The entrance is beyond the back of the building on the far right tucked in on the left. If you don’t speak Portuguese and ask around where to go it might be challenging to locate. We found the front store owners and locals very friendly and happy to assist with directions. Our stay was memorable and our attendant at the desk was incredibly helpful, providing us with a map and instructions. The old area of Guimaraes is definitely worth exploring and Hotel Toural is the perfect location for the area.

Very friendly staff, easy check-in. Large comfortable room. Good breakfast available. Excellent location, close to everything and 10-15 minute walk to bus station.

Great place .. no parking but they made up for it in so many other ways. The breakfast experience was phenomenal. They bring everything to table. A bit strange in today’s world but the experience was fantastic.

Toural has an old-world charm, with its location, decor, and the service. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is full of nice surprises including home made cakes. The room is very spacious with a balcony over looking the historical Toural square. We loved our stay!

Wonderful receptionist JulieAnn with a big big welcome and hello everytime. Very helpful a mind of useful information on what to see and do. Comfy bed great views over one of the towns squares and a terrific breakfast to start the day. Guimsraes a hidden gem and be back at Toural Hotel to explore the Geres National Park. Thanks to all at thr Toural Hotel.

Loved everything about this hotel. The staff, the location, the breakfast - everything was top notch.

Great location - close to historic center, although struggled a bit finding it, the entrance is tucked away in a corner. Friendly & Helpful Staff - super nice, polite & professional Lovely Breakfast Rooms - bit dated & mattress wasn’t comfortable. Looks like for one adult, even if you book a double, you get room with 2 single beds joined together.
