Good location for busses and walking. Good hospitality at front desk. Rooms are old and not greatly appointed. TV and Fridge did not function. The breakfast was not elegant. Not good porter service. No restaurant just a bar. Many stairs in funny locations. Was very clean.

I recently stayed at Grand Hotel Europe and had a really great experience overall. The hotel itself has a classic charm, is well-maintained, and is in a fantastic location close to the lake with beautiful surroundings. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What truly made my experience stand out, though, was Dorphy at the reception. She was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived and handled everything with professionalism and a genuine smile. She was always ready to help whether it was answering questions, giving helpful local recommendations, or just making sure everything was going smoothly during my stay. It’s rare to come across someone so attentive and kind, and she really made me feel valued as a guest. Because of her and the overall quality of the hotel, I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Lucerne

Ladies by the desk very helpful, especially blond hair girl. Main manager older guy not respectful and very poor understand what guest saying, very nervous person. And he complicated my life pretty badly. And no way this is 4* hotel with locking shower and squiking floors. Without place to park 12m bus. Problem was employee inform me parking for 3big spaces for busses belong to hotel. I have told him I was here 2yers ago and I wasn't allowed to park overnight, he said no problem this is for hotel. And after 3h someone from reception decide you can't park there because I will get ticket. No one wants to listening about rules with our break I couldn't move my bus till 11h break finish. Zero understanding!!

Spent two nights here on a tour. Lucerne is a lovely city, but this wouldn't have been my first choice of places to stay as it is a little bit out from the city center, although the public transportation is easy to navigate and runs timely so there isn't much of an issue getting around. We had a room with a nice view of the lake and the staff was efficient and pleasant.
