Great staff and breakfast with comfy bed

I booked well in advance and was able to get a twin room with balcony for single use at a very good price. The view from the balcony was NOT picturesque, however it faced a side street it was very quiet.  I understand that rooms without balconies face the main road and traffic noise can be a concern.   There was no balcony furniture, so I couldn’t really sit out there unless I pulled the sizeable desk chair out.  The room was a good size and didn’t feel claustrophobic at all.  The bathroom was old worldy, not modern, but came complete with bidet. There was no conditioner in the shower, but I have found that to be the case in many hotels. Ladies, bring your conditioner to Portugal. My hair looks like straw!  There was a mini fridge in the room, a kettle, and a couple of sachets of instant coffee and two teabags supplied. There wasn't a bottle of water supplied in the room. but there is a mini market a couple of blocks away. The hotel has restaurant and offered a set evening meal for €17.50 (April 2026), though I did not have it.  But I did have the breakfast buffet, which came included in my room rate. The buffet foods were plentiful, complete with all sorts of breads and rolls, jams, pastries including pastel Nata, a coffee machine which you could program to your specification, a juice machine, cereals, and a lovely assortment of cut fruits, including melon, watermelon, oranges, and whole apples and bananas.  All in all a very nice hotel and my experience was very positive.

Short walk to beach good choice of restaurants, staff very helpful, hotel has plenty of space to chill.we spent 3 nights there whilst touring Spain and Portugal and would be happy to stay again

Great small and clean hotel, a bit outdated but practical and cozy. Bed a bit hard. Friendly staff. Walking distance to pharmacy, bakery, groceries and massage.

Conveniently located hotel for our walk on Coastal Camino. Clean comfortable room. Good breakfast buffet except for coffee which appeared to be instant coffee.

The staff was great. Breakfast was good, but crowded due to a tour group. Our room was on a busy street. When the tour group's bus returned after 1:00 AM there was so much noise! The bus beeped and beeped as it backed up and the tour group was very noisy for quite awhile. Ask for a room not on the main road. Nice town, and easy to walk to the beach.

Welcomed back graciously. A nice family type hotel.

Great staff, welcoming. Nice room, need extra pillows. Breakfast was good and offered quite a bit of nutritious food to get your day going.
