Highly recommend. Rooms were clean and current. Food and dining room were excellent!

I loved the little green balcony we had. It made the room feel very cozy. The room was very clean and the perfect size.

The best hotel we stayed in while visiting Ireland. Clean, great location, easy to park, friendly staff and good restaurant.

Rooms were extremely hot. Staff had three fans in there but it just circulated hot air. Made it difficult to sleep at night Noise of fans & heat of room. Not the best!!!!

A hotel with character that is both close enough to Galway's city center without being too close that it keeps you awake at night. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating! Would stay at the Hyde again!

Under renovation but barely noticeable during the stay. Off site parking was very convenient (2 min walk). Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful.

Location of this place was ideal! It was close to parking, and walkabale to all the cool locations in Galway. There is a bus that stops right outside the door and there are so many bars and places to eat close by. My only complaint was service at breakfast. It was slow but otherwise fantastic stay!

This hotel is conveniently located to all the best places. The bathrooms/shower is weird with no door to the shower and no fan. Other than that, this places is excellent. The bar has a really cool vibe.

Loved the hotel. Its location was perfect. We were in easy walking distance to the train station and a departure point for our tour to the cliffs. Our room was very nice, however, be aware that the third floor is under renovation. Our initial room was not up to my standards and it did not have air conditioning. The manager changed our room immediately and all was great after that. The bar and restaurant are very pretty, clean and upscale. The breakfasts were exceptional for an included breakfast. The servers allowed us to customize our meal with the menu choices so that was wonderful.

The Hyde is conveniently located to everything in Galway, including the train station. The hotel has a great restaurant, which we enjoyed for dinner. We did not opt to upgradeto include breakfast. There was no air conditioning, however, and our room was very stuffy and loud with the window open. Our room did not have a fridge, nor a working coffee maker. Compared to our two Dublin hotels, the Hyde was pricier, with fewer amenities.

I would definitely stay here again. Very convenient location whether you have a vehicle or not. Lots to do in the area.

Excellent location, extremely helpful and kind staff, very comfortable and clean room.

Wonderful!! Elizabeth at reception was amazing! I mentioned that we were on our honeymoon, and she upgraded us to a suite at no charge! Would absolutely stay here again!
