The location was great - right on the water and close to the castle, shops and boat docks. It was over 100 degrees when we visited and the air conditioning in the room helped but couldn’t keep up with the heat. The room was comfortable but a little old and dusty. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel to spend a few days in Sirmione, location great, friendly staff & breakfast was beautiful. Visited Terme di Sirmione spa for a few hours, great for relaxing. Overall great time

Amazing!!!

The breakfast was beyond our expectations and enjoyed fully on the terrace just above the water. But probably best of all was the perfect location in historic Sirmione. The staff in the reception were extremely helpful. The room was clean but simple and small, although one really should spend all the available time outdoors exploring the beautiful town and surroundings.

Amazing location and views.

Great location, right on the lake and right by the castle. Nice restaurant right on the water - you can jump in the lake from the restaurant! Clean property, helpful staff - we would stay there again.

The location of the hotel is amazing, hence a slightly bigger price tag, which is fair enough. However, the rooms are quite basic. The bathroom dated. The room with the terrace and hot tub has warped and flaking decking and the hot tub itself had a stain around the waterline (which the guy wiped away on our arrival) but it returned after a short walk around the beautiful Sirmione. Not sure how regularly the water is replaced in the hot tubs, but generally it was a bit worn and shabby. In addition, the bed slats fell of my partner's side of the bed as shelay down in the bed. I fixed them but we told reception and they delay with it by fixing it (which I'd already done)....we returned back and simply sitting on the bed meant the slats fell off again. After a second complaint they replaced the bed for us. The staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. It's just a shame they haven't invested into the upkeep and to give the place a more modern or authentic decoration in the rooms/en suite and a bit more upkeep on the decking and hottubs etc

A charming hotel in a charming town!

It was a great location in Sirmione. Best air conditioning during or trip in France and Italy. Make sure to arrange for parking ahead of time.

Located centrally, very clean and beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Will be coming back!

Beautiful stay, we loved it!

The views were exquisite. The town of Sirmione was so charming. The breakfast at Hotel Flaminia was superb and offered so many options. The staff was great too. The one caveat that was strange to us was how the shower door didn’t offer privacy. (The toilet had a separate door, so it was only the shower that was affected.) We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and the clear shower door opened up to the pull out couch where my kids slept. We made it work by having people gather in one part of the room while a person showered, but it was not ideal. The staff said it wasn’t abnormal for an Italian hotel to have a layout like this, although I’ve never experienced this is any other hotel worldwide.

Hotel Flaminia is in a great location in the old town and has a very relaxing vibe to it with beautiful staff. The breakfast is excellent and with there being a dock leading you into the lake Perfect on a hot summer day. Unfortunately, our room was next to the lift and the sound barrier wasn’t there. The bathroom lighting was very low and I doubt someone would be able to put make-up on in that light. I wasn’t able to fill the bathtub and have a bath, the water just ran out. I’m not saying I wouldn’t stay there again, but I wouldn’t stay in room 19. The bed was comfortable. The bedding was good.X

Great spot in a wonderful location within easy stroll of the local attractions and lake boats. The hotel is very old but well maintained. Rooms are on the small side but comfortable nonetheless. The lakeside terrace is lovely, serving good food and a beautiful spot for an evening drink. Breakfast on the terrace is a very nice start to the day. The staff are very helpful and always pleasant.

Our room had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony. The breakfast was wonderful. We also had a wonderful lunch and dinner at the hotel. Would love to visit again.

Great staff

Perfect location on the waters edge of the Lake Garda, in the busy historic town of Sirmione. Able to get directly into the Lake , a sun terrace with lovely views along with a restaurant. Breakfast gave a really good variety of cold and hot buffet food. A small but varied selection of gluten free items a bonus. We also had one evening meal in the hotel which was delicious. We had a twin room on the side of the hotel with a julienne balcony with a Lake view. Room had comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe space, safe and a fridge but no kettle. New bottles of water were given each day. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Clean and roomy room, friendly & informative staffs, walking distance to attractions, good breakfast and delicious menu from Mano Restaurant on the side. Property is right on the water and less than 5 minutes walk o ferry.

Great hotel - lovely view of the lake. Waiters a bit off (male only) but was a nice stay
