Quite place to stay if you just want to walk an island of Venice. Nice breakfast and room size was bigger than assumed.

We overlooked a road that had walls surrounding an equestrian yard. Tiny shower but hot water.

This is a great hotel for the price. Not on the main islands of Venice; but, it’s just a short boat ride to the other islands. The hotel is walking distance from a beautiful sand beach.

Great location. 5 min walk to the beach. 2 min walk to bus station. Highly recommend

The worker's were very kind and the place was very nice

we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had regarding transport or nice local eating places. the hotel is located near the beach in a quiet residential area with easy access to the town centre by a frequent bus service and the local water-bus transport hub for the five minute ride into the centre of Venice. this hotel met and surpassed all our requirements and we will certainly return to this hotel and can fully recommend it.

The hotel was well-equipped and clean. The receptionist explained the public transport options etc for us, and that was useful as we bought ACTV Transport tickets for 72 hours (I recommend that if you want to visit other islands). It's a good accommodation if you don't want to spend the night in central Venice.

Hotel Sorriso is currently rated at two star level. The room allocated to my wife and I was at least three star level. It was large, well furnished and suited us very well. There was one thing that would have made it perfect, and that was the provision of a kettle and a couple of cups. When checking out, we discussed this with the manager, who told us that she provides kettles and cups upon request. Perhaps guests should be advised of that option. Otherwise, it was an extremely satisfying stay at the Sorriso for two quite elderly people. Thank you.

Staff very friendly and accommodating.

We arrived fairly late and were expecting a wheelchair accessible room because I'd used that filter on my search. The person who received us was not expecting that, but showed us 2 rooms, either of which would have been suitable, and let us choose. It was good value, but when we checked out it cost more than I expected. Again, this is probably my fault in the way I booked it, which was fairly hurried.

Loved it - beautiful minimalist rooms and friendly staff.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Even told my wife there was a market on which wasn't too far. Directions to the hotel were precise and allowed for late check in and late check out. Great place as a base for exploring Venice.

Nice hotel on Lido, lot's of public transportation nearby or a 30-40 minute walk to the main ferry terminals. Breakfast was great and the staff was extremely accommodating, they even brought me something to eat for the morning when I had to leave before breakfast.

Nice location friendly hosts

This hotel was an amazing value. I had a room with a balcony and it was perfect. Staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, location for price was unbeatable- 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes from the ferry to the hotel on the bus or a 34 minute walk. I strongly recommend this hotel and would go back in a heartbeat

Hotel itself is set on the lagoon side of the island, close to the bus route if you need it though we hired bikes and there is a garden to store them safely. Also it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Our room offered views of the lagoon and the equestrian centre which were both lovely to wake up to. Rooms are also spotlessly clean and spacious and cleaned daily/new towels also. Staff were always courteous though not over bearing. Breakfast room is clean and peaceful and the continental breakfast was good especially as it was included in the cost. Staff keep the food topped up constantly. This is a really great value hotel when looking at quality v price, we will definitely stay here again and highly recommend

Fantastic location. So close to the beach. And they have an arrangement with one of the private beaches, so you can get sun loungers, parasols set up for you for a small fee. You can rent bikes from there too. Staff are fantastic, knowledgeable about local amenities & English speaking. Good breakfast which is included in your room rate.

Lovely clean, very basic hotel. A good 25 mins walk from ferry port which you will need for trips to and from for airport, venice etc which cost about €15 return per person each time. Also a couple of very nice bars/restaurants/free beach near by but biggest choice is again 25 min walk
