Friendly staff..

Yes it was clean and handy. The air conditioner worked marginally well and the room was tiny. It served the purpose of an overnight stay

I didn't really like the first 2-3 nights at the hotel since my room was not well cleaned. There was a sandwich inside the closet when I got there. The shower was too small.

Hôtel non rénové et malpropre. les chambres sont très petites, coffre fort non fonctionnel et tout est sale et dégueulasse à vue. Petite place pour une seule valise et aucune place pour une trousse de toilette dans la salle de bain. En plus interdit d’apporter un breuvage ou de la nourriture de l’extérieur même pas une bouteille d’eau, on doit acheter sur place à l’hôtel, (du jamais vu). La photo de la prise électrique est celle en entrant dans la salle de bain. Points forts: bien situé hors de la médina, lit confortable et étonnamment literie propre,

Stayed 4 nights room was never Cleaned

The hotel was very good for the price we paid per night (around £18). The rooms were basic but the beds were really comfortable. The restaurant serve a reasonable menu and also alcohol, however you can’t rely that you will be served what you asked for. Nevertheless the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good as it’s half way between the big square medina and the new town so if you don’t mind walking 10mins in either direction it’s very easy. Unfortunately the pool was out of use when we got there (in fact looked under construction) which we were not told about previously.

Great location. Plenty of restaurants around. The hotel was clean and quiet. Will be staying there again when I go back to Marrakech, Morocco.

The Hotel Akabar desperately needs a coat of paint and a reno. It must have been a beauty when new. The bar was nice, it is nice to have a pool to cool down. The staff was all friendly and nice. The location is perfect. Close to both Gueliz and the Old Medina. A supermarket is also just a couple of blocks away. I recommend staying as a great location and value proposition.

Réservation was for a double single bed not 2 single bed

It was an excellent trip to Marakkesh and Akbar hotel was really great, I will prefer to stay in the same hotel in my next visit

Das Personal ist wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Für mich war die Lage perfekt. Mein Zimmer war einigermassen sauber, hätte besser sein können. Klimaanlage funktionierte gut aber war total schmutzig. Kleine Lampen oberhalb vom Bett funkzionieren nicht. Dekowase auf dem kleinen Tisch war kaputt diese könnte man wegnehmen, da sie auch keinen Nutzen hat. Oder dann wenigstens ersetzen. Pool war saber jnd eine angenehme erfrischung am Nachmittag. Würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Wer hohe Ansprüche hat und auf Luxus wert legt, wäre hier nicht glücklich gewesen.

Ikke et nyt hotel, men pænt og rent. Aftensmad smagte godt og betjening super. Eneste anke - taxa var bestilt, men kom ikke... Alt i alt et fint ophold!

Min vistelse på hotellet var tyvärr inte bra. Hotellet var under renovering, vilket orsakade mycket högt oväsen och störde min upplevelse
