little variety at breakfast

Pleasant stay in a beautiful location, the room was basic but ok. Unfortunately shower in bathroom leaked out it main room, but they did provide extra towels to mop up! We were disappointed that their restaurant was closed as this was one of the reasons for our choice. However, they did provide good recommendations for other restaurants

We arrived late but warmly welcomed by the staff. Very quaint hotel but best part was waking up to the beautiful Tuscan landscape from our room! Breakfast was delicious as well. Beautiful terrace to take in the views as well. Wish we'd had another night there!

A hidden gem on the Via Francigena. We loved our stay after a day of walking from Siena. Delicious food too.

Excellent service. We arrived late when the kitchen's restaurant was closing, despite that they arrange for us a nice dinner. In general all the staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and has a cozy atmosphere.

Nice hotel rooms are pretty basic and bathrooms are very small. Restaurant not open at weekends.

Absolutely perfect stay...only regret was we only stayed one night. Room was great, very spacious. Our meal in the dining room was top-notch and our breakfast was great. Drinks on the terrace were perfect. Prices for room and meal were very fair. Amazing property and would highly recommend.

Ideal location

The 4-beds room has a tiny double bed and a even smaller bathroom which gives you a unwanted Campervan feeling. Otherwise good.

It was on the VF so a great location fr walkers. Clean spacious and had a washing line outside the window. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff helpful and cheerful. Stay here.

Overall a nice place. Room was small but clean. Staff was "not very involved", so to speak.

Owners did excellent job preserving the feel and details of the original building.

Really nice location If you’re visiting Siena Italy and neighboring hill towns. The best part is the restaurant. Beautiful setting with tablecloths Candles, excellent food and service. The hotel is not high end Like the restaurant, but it is certainly adequate.

A perfect location that allowed us time to relax in a small but lovely environment with access to many surrounding towns and sites.

While traveling through Tuscany, we needed a hotel near Sienna. Booked this one late in the evening, great showers and clean, modern facilities, woke to the most amazing views of Tuscan countryside. Enjoyed a bountiful breakfast before getting back on the road. We will certainly stay here again, next time plan on spending more time at this wonderful hotel.

Very good front of house reception staff, both friendly and helpful, We liked the bar /garden area overlooking lovely countryside. Room was average, bed comfortable with a good size bathroom. Restaurant has a limited menu so we didn't eat there.

Clean comfortable room, quiet, nice staff, great shower, plentiful breakfast. All with unbeatable view.

We loved it, would go back in a minute. Seriously, find this place and stay there, it is reasonably priced and has a great authentic feel in a small town with about 20 or 30 buildings. Make their own chianti which is great. It's in a refurbished old building which has a lot of "old world charm" with great amenities.

We booked the hotel last minute after spending the day in Siena and ended up arriving in the middle of the night! It was such a unexpected surprize when we got there! A quaint boutique hotel with their own vineyard! In the morning I woke up to see the beautiful rolling hills, the hotel itself part of a quaint stone village! This was the best hotel of our trip!
