I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive — they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for. The food was absolutely delicious every day. One highlight for me was the seafood dish — it was simply outstanding, fresh and full of flavor! Dining here was a real treat. My room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The housekeeping staff did a great job. The hotel’s pool area is beautiful — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a touch of luxury. I would definitely love to come back!

We had a family vacation at the hotel recently and it exceeded our expectations. We got an ocean view room which was spacious, beautifully arranged and had a huge bathroom with a bathtub. The service was friendly and very efficient. Food was really tasty with a lot of fresh local produce being used. It had a long pool and a good beach. The area is not very large but is cosy. Highly recommend for a family vacation

They may be 3 stars, but their presidential suite is definitely a gem. Great spacious room with indoor pool. Staff make you feel like royalty. And the chef made our special requests possible. Their hotel brand has changed now, no longer oak ray. But still a great hotel, the buffet is small but recommended for those who are looking for something special.As I mentioned rooms are great. Highly recommended for couples.

Whilst our first visit was good, noted deterioration in many areas, some of the staff was proactive, pleasent and hospitable. As how should be. Some had a zombie mood, don't care attitude. Food was good but selection at the dinner buffet was poor. Presentation and quantity of food at room service order was good too. Many maintenance requirements were seen. Pool towels should be changed, need a proactive pool attendant when there are guests, which is business that helps pay his salary. They can go to non operative mode when the hotel is on zero occupancy. In fact all staff must keep this in mind.

The Oak Ray Beach Hotel has a beautiful location and an amazing stay. Lovely staff, very friendly. Happy weekend day out with my friends! Very tasty welcome drink, perfect lunch in the buffet, and evening coffee with snack is also very good. Mixed up with local dishes as well. The ocean view from the hotel was stunning, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Very good selections. The service staff are very friendly and attentive. The ocean view is lovely, with a swimming pool different from the other hotels. Nicely designed and very clean. Thank you to the housekeeping staff as well. Finally, we well enjoyed this occasion, thanks to Mr. Withana, the management, and the staff. We will be back soon.🤝
