Had 2 nights at Oniyama Hotel although this place has been run over 60 years, it keeps in a really good condition. We stayed in the highest floor(7F), the view was great and you could see the area. And it is walkable to all the tourists spots which is great. All the staff are kind and helpful, I can tell their passion for this hotel through their service. The food here is great and recommended the traditional Japanese banquet for dinner, you will have a good variety of options. There are 2 hot spring in the hotel in 1F and 6F, which provides you the different vibes while the stay.

Wonderful rooms and baths, including two private family baths for mixed gender so you can talk to your partner. Family bath cannot be reserved; it's first come first served. Park in front of the hotel even though it doesn't seem like parking.

The onsen is big, pretty and worth to try. The room is slightly old, yet clean and tidy, and give you a warm touch of traditional tatami feeling. However, unlike other onsen hotels in Japan, staff in Oniyama hotel would try to avoid interact with non-japanese tourist.

Staff is quite friendly. Room is also clean. However the facility is a bit dated.

Have really big and good outside onsen. And also have food top onsen with surrounding view.
