We really enjoyed our room. Based on the listing, we were not certain what to expect but the one bedroom unit was very well setup. Pool view was unique/cool and kids loved it. On site restaurant was nice/convenient. Parking situation required a bit of navigation but staff was excellent. This was our first visit but we would stay again.

It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience. Other than that my room was very good with a kitchen.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful town

Everything about this property is amazing! Rooms, comfort, breakfast, friendliness, helpfulness… The hotel arranged a taxi for us from the train station and to buy bus tickets. They were able to get us tickets to all the Chestnut Festival activities.

The space was clean, well maintained, and so spacious. The sheets and towels were updated. Loved our stay. The breakfast could use more protein but the coffee was good

A wonderful property with nice accommodations. Parking is off sight but a walkable distance away. A good location for exploring the area and a good central location for the region.

Wonderful property with 17th century roots. Short walk to medieval town centre and surrounding panoramic views of countryside. Bring walking shoes since all streets are up and down, and no elevators inside buildings. Easy access to good food and wine all over town including at the Palazzo.

Parking on the street was easy. Though the steep walk uphill to the hotel would be a challenge for some, we found it delightful and hotel staff informed us that they have a luggage transfer service for people who arrrive with heavy bags. Room was lovely and the ktichenette was one of the best supplied we have ever seen, including utensils, pans, and plenty of dishes.

I feel really confused by this hotel. It seems like the furniture that’s in the pictures was swapped out afterwards for cookie cutter hotel furniture. I asked about where to eat in the area as it was my last night and was told the hotel restaurant was nice. I was skeptical but saw there was Michelin acknowledgment and good reviews so I tried it. It was incredibly, unbelievably bad. A panazella salad that was celery and grey tomatoes?. Only only choice for wine and it was an acidic 30€ Cabernet Sauvignon? There was no one in the kitchen except two people. I actually cancelled my dinner half way through because I was just getting angry. The whole stay felt like I was on a weird hidden camera show. I will say the rooms are large and the pool is incredible though.

Great quaint place

Fantastic historic property in amazing 14th century city center. Highly recommend. Food was great. They coordinated a driver (Alessandro) to drive us to a winery and some area attractions. Highly recommended.

The property is very close to several churches, museums and the castle. Some of the ammenities like the pool, jacuzzi, spa are closed due to maintenance, and the parking lot is not on site, some walking required. The breakfast quality and selection were excellent!

Wonderful stay at such a beautiful hotel with very friendly and courteous staff- will be back!

This was the cleanest, friendliest, most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The value was absolutely worth it. Our room was beautiful, quiet and private with a stunning view. The breakfast that is included in the morning was top notch. The staff was kind and helpful!

Service was outstanding. Parking can be tricky, call in advance! Rooms are beautiful and peacefull

It’s more than a 10 ! It’s a 12 Just amazing resort - my “room” was an entire apartment… what a pity staying there only one day.
