Peaceful escape from the business of the Medina

Outstanding service and hospitality. Breakfast was the best they had a huge selection and it was excellent quality.

Perfect location to explore the town. Beautiful clean Riad with an inhouse restaurant. The Riad is nicely restored and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a large upper story room, which had all required amenities and like all Riads had a lots of steps to the room. Cannot find any faults from.our stay.

We enjoyed 3 nights at this beautiful riad, they were so welcoming and kind. We had a light dinner the first night as we were tired from our drive. They were happy to accommodate us and the food was delicious. We had the panoramic room that had a lot of stairs to get to it but the views and privacy were great. We would recommend this place when staying in Essaouira.

Stayed for a few days and had an amazing experience. The riad is clean, comfortable and very well located. The staff is also extremely friendly and super helpful, would definitely stay again and highly recommend

Riad Chbanate is a beautiful traditional Moroccan style boutique hotel in the medina. It is a short walk to the centre where you will find plenty of restaurants and shops, including the souks. The riad is very clean, comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with robes, slippers, toiletries, water, coffee machine and air con. Breakfast was delicious, with home cooked pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was home cooked to order. Again it was delicious as well as beautifully prepared and presented. Overall we would highly recommend Riad Chbanate for your stay in Essaouira.

Our stay at Riad Chbanate was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and every suggestion they made for restaurants and other services were spot on. The riad was really peaceful, clean and comfortable, our room was nice, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommended, hopefully we'll get a chance to visit again.

This is a lovely riad within the walls of the old medina. So expect to find your way from the roadside to the front door. Very helpful staff and lovely breakfasts. We will come back if we are in the city again.

We had an exceptional experience staying with Ryad Chbanate. The staff was welcoming, friendly and went out of their way at every turn to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would rate 11 out of 10 for Ryad Chbanate. I rarely write reviews.

We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful and beautiful Riad. The room was so pretty and comfortable, the staff was attentive and helpful, the breakfast was delicious.

A great Riad for a short stay in Essaouira. The.open fire was lovely for a chilly January and the staff were also very warm and helpful. Only a few minutes walk from the taxi dropoff too.

Most beautiful Riad. Fantastic staff, such a good location. Roof terrace was incredible. Would return in a heart beat. Thanks for everything.

This riad is amazing. Great staff, great breakfast, great room, great turtle! I'm hooked on the argan soap and that shower is my favorite shower in the world. Can't wait to go back will definitely be staying here.

We booked the room at the very last minute after our planned stay turned out poorly. We loved the location, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, the room was clean, there was hot water and air conditioning… overall an excellent Riad.

Quiet oasis inside the busy Medina. The room was very comfortable, the service was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would very happily stay at Riad Chbanate again, and I highly recommend it.

Warm and friendly staff. Nice roof garden with hot tub but we were lucky to have it to ourselves as only 2 of 8 rooms were let. It’s 10 minutes walk to the beach and down a back ally but it felt safe. Bathrooms are amazing with plenty of hot water. There was a fridge in the room. It’s expensive fir Morocco though.
