Villa Sermolli is a beautiful, ultra clean, characterful property offering fabulous views and attractive, quiet terraced gardens. My siblings and I were there for 5 days of art, fine wine and dining in a most perfect location. The staff were very attentive, professional and friendly, bending over backwards to help and make our stay wonderful. I hope to return there soon with my husband to enjoy the ambience again. Highly recommend if wanting to get away from everything and enjoy relaxation and good food. The pool was an unexpected delight, a small and secluded area in one of the garden terraces, with lounging chairs and parasols, beautiful. The hotel is on a steep hill so be prepared for steps and inclines, but definitely worth it!

Location and panoramic views from the hotel were fabulous. Room wasn’t as luxurious as advertised or expected but adequate for 2 nights. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Location was out of the way, but if you want peace and quiet then this would be the perfect place. Lots of original features, character and outside terraces gave amazing views.

They messed up our booking and we had to leave after 2 days instead of 4. They did make an effort to make good by giving us a free pasta dinner and table wine, as well as a discounted drive to Luca and back. They covered the booking for 2 nights at another hotel , but it was of much lower quality and we left that hotel and got another on our own.

Welcome and transportation to reception in a golf buggy was novel. Pool is maybe a little bit far from the hotel if you were going to use it a lot. The staff, food room and everything made it a wonderful stay though and well worth the price.

A must-book! It would be a mistake to skip this hotel over. The hotel was absolutely spectacular on every variable. The historic villa was gorgeous, the room was spacious and elegant, and the views were out of this world. Dinner served in the bottom floor restaurant was delicious, served in a pretty little room. Breakfast was perfect and came with the option to eat on the outdoor terrace next to the gardens and breathtaking view. Have travelled all over and this has been the best hotel we've found. Well worth the trip even if it's out of your way a bit.

Villa Sermolli is a dream location in Toscany, specially for lemon trees lovers like me. The service in the restaurant and also the food were amazing. I wish I could have stay more to discover the town, but just staying in this lovely villa with the love of my life was more than enough.

Service, location and the condition of the Villa is all excellent. We only spent one night which was not enough and plan to return as this is one of the most relaxing hotels we have found.

Very well managed, charming old villa, in great condition, overlooking superb terraced gardens with exotic plants and Tuscan countryside. A dream! Many thanks to Elena, Martin, Elisa, Olga and the whole team, for their warm, fantastic service, which made us feel like home. Our large, clean, functional room, very large bathroom and extra large terrace covered by wisteria was a bonus to the fantastic ambience of the place. We will return!

We had an amazing family trip and enjoyed every minute of our stay here. I would stay again and I will highly recommend this placed to my friends.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms amazing and the views breathtaking! We loved the decor and the staff truly was amazing. They were very accommodating and happy to help. The restaurant was picturesque and the breakfast buffet unique to the local cuisine. Our coffees were made to order and the turn down service a personal touch. Martin and his staff will be remembered! They even packed us a lunch for our early departure. We highly recommend this hotel if you are in Tuscany.

What an amazing surprise! The villa has a wonderful view on top of a Tuscan hill, situated at a medieval town. The garden was giant and full of lush greens such as lemon trees and palm trees. The host and staff are all very friendly. As the car park was a few stairs below the entrance we got picked up in a golf car by the host/owner himself. Every day two meal sets are prepared (you can mix and match as you wish) and of very high quality.

The staff were absolutely amazing. They could not have done more for us. The site was fantastic and the food was so good there was no point in looking for anywhere else to eat in the evening.

When I think of Italy, this is what I dreamed of. My family stayed here three nights. It is a hidden gem on top of a mountain overlooking the town below and a castle. It has amazing views. The smell of the orange and lemon trees all around while you dine on an outside garden terrace. The whole property if filled with vegetation. If you are looking for a modern, quick night, American hotel. This is not the place for you. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Make time to enjoy this hotel. Of our 10 day trip to Italy, this hotel was our favorite.

The Villa is beautiful and well maintained, with friendly staff. It is a great location for touring, especially with a car as there are many famous and smaller Tuscan towns to explore. It is a guesthouse rather than a hotel so food and drink during day were less well-accommodated, but as most people are out all day this is not an issue. The front desk staff and food/ drink servers were very nice and helpful

Superb value.I've paid 5 times as much for much less elegantaccomodations Montecay In Tuscany outside Montecatini at top of escarpment. 54 varied rooms redone from 1550{and 1850 renovated} castle. Really excellent kitchen with tables on lovely terrace garden.Only drawbacks are walk up to the hotel from parking[NOT for the physically challenged] and pool is 400 yards from hotel and pretty skimpy.
