This is a classic old San Isidro hotel: colonial style older building with larger rooms that feel a bit dated in furnishings, bathrooms on the smaller side. Staff is super friendly and the location is excellent: next to a coffee and gelato shop and walking distance to many other restaurants.

The most delightful hotel stay. The facilities are so relaxing, stately and the entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We will not only highly recommend them but will visit again. Thanks to all, Bob & Margaret.

The hotel is beautiful and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful offering restaurant recommendations, advice for parking at notable areas, etc. The breakfast and the staff preparing it were absolutely lovely. We could not have imagined a better stay.

I highly recommend staying at this property if you want to explore the suburbs in Buenos Aires. The Hotel del Casco is located walking distance from the center of San Isidro and just a block away from the cathedral as well as the plaza where there is a market selling handicrafts on Sundays. It is easy to get to by car or public transport. The staff is very helpful and nice. The rooms are comfortable, some are around an enclosed garden room turned living room area, we chose one outside for more privacy and thought it might be quieter.

Excellent hotel, quite close to everything. Truly a gem in San Isidro.

Beautiful place!

Outside of the city of fBuenos Aires is this gem. If the location is good for you, we were in for a family event, this is a quiet hotel with lots of character and an excellent staff.

The staff was extremely attentive and beyond excellent. Unfortunately, our villa tucked in the back needed a little more love. The rooms smelled like mold; this is understandable for it being an old building. The lampshades and curtains were stained and dirty. This was disappointing in a five star hotel. The grounds and other buildings such as the breakfast room, book room, and main sitting area were absolutely beautiful. The location of the hotel was very convenient, being close to both train stations and restaurants. The entire staff was lovely and treated us like family.

We were looking for a 'classic' boutique style hotel experience, not a brand name or contemporary hotel to visit family in the area. We found it here. Stayed 5 nights with for a family of three. From the exceptionally friendly check-in to the included morning breakfast and the central location in San Isidro. We will definitely choose Hotel del Casco again for our next trip to BA.
