Excellent place for few days quiet retreat. Very friendly staff. Close to many small beautiful towns around, like Polignano a Mare. We had a lot of fun.

This place was amazing! The property was absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. The room was great and very clean. The staff was fantastic! The breakfast every morning was incredible. We had such a great time and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

The staff could not have been kinder or more hospitable! Other hotels should send their staff here for training. Lovely setting, pool, and scenery overlooking Fasano. The only disappointment was the air conditioning system would not work. If we opened the doors to get a breeze, it shut off altogether. If we kept the doors closed & windows, it worked very slightly. Once that is fixed, this hotel will be perfect. Thank you for a great retreat!! We will return, for sure -

A lovely hotel with fabulous views. It is however isolated on a hill and off a very narrow road. Great staff and very well looked after.

Had a great stay, all hotel staff were excellent very patient especially with our poor language skills. Due to hotels secluded location and lack of on site or local restaurant a car is essential. Fantastic buffet breakfast and lite lunch available on request. Excellent choice for a quiet relaxing stay but easy access to local attractions with a car. T.V. reception and choice of channels not great but for us this was no problem. Wifi was very good all in all areas of hotel and FREE.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Francesca who offered us an abundance of advice regarding the area. All of the staff were welcoming and accommodating. We were more than pleased by our accommodations...our balcony overlooked the pool and gave us a great view of the valley and the sea in the distance. There is an abundance of potential private places to rest and relax...roof top terrace, hammocks on hillside behind us, tables, chairs and loungers around pool and indoor and outdoor dinning areas. Great breakfast with fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, juices, coffee.... Our room was comfy, cosh and clean. Given our chosen itinerary, we did not spend as much time as we would have liked at Al Mirador. Salento (the heel of the boot of Italy) is a beautiful area known for its Trullis, beaches, historic city centres... and of course it's Italian cuisine. I would definitely return to Al Mirador but for longer than four nights.

This is a beautiful property in the middle of nowhere. They are geared towards events such as business conferences and weddings and are not prepared for individual travelers.

El Mirador staff were very friendly. I was contacted by the staff prior to my arrival to ensure a smooth check in to the hotel. While enroute to the El Mirador the staff called me to make sure that I was not lost on my way there, since this was my first time driving from Sicily to Italy. This was nice to know that the staff does care about the customer(s), and had never experience this kind of service from other hotels. El Mirador hotel, was very clean, has nice view of the city, ocean and is an excellent value for the money. I never write reviews, but as mentioned above their service was excellent. I will highly recommend this to anyone.

Warm welcome by Francesca, Angela and Angelo. Very helpful with restaurant recommendations and maps and guidance for places wanting to visit. Good breakfast and availibility of drinks at other times.

Food: Cooked fresh with local ingredients. Set menu but if you prefer something different the chef will make personal arrangements for you. Excellent service and very reasonably priced. Room: We stayed in one of the junior suites. It was large, well equiped and beutifully furnished. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool compared to the heat outside. Hotel Resort: a beautiful outlook from its cliff side vantage point over the coast line and towns / villages below. Sheltered from the wind. Nice and quiet because of distance from the road / other houses etc. Pool was well kept and beautiful. Very relaxing time sitting around the pool with drinks and a book. Local area: Recommend car hire. We flew to Bari and got a rental care for £150 for a week and were able to then go to all the local villages to see the shops, beautiful little streets etc. Gelato is ace. Coastline a little rugged. We didn't find any nice quiet beaches. Any sandy beaches were full of locals but we did go during school holidays and we preferred swimming / sitting by the pool and just sticking to coastal walks. Overall - an exceptional holiday and would highly recommend this hotel. Hospitality was amazing and seems to be family run not bothing you but being around if anything required.

Al Mirador is located about 1-kilometre off the road from Fasano to Locorotondo, with access up a steep road from Laurento. After the drive up and passing through the automated gates, the outstanding view from the hotel is revealed. This is a small hotel with about 9 rooms and our bedroom was located on the upper floor. The same outstanding view could be had from the room's east facing, large balcony, across the plain below to the Adriatic Sea in the distance. The hotel is modern and very well designed to take maximum advantage of its position. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The staff were extremely pleasant, and by the end of our four night stay we almost felt like one of the family. For most of our stay we were the only guests so we generally dined alone. A set meal of four courses was provided each evening and this was excellent, all the food being freshly prepared each day. We will have fond memories of our stay at Al Mirador for many years to come.

Stayed for a week in this superb hotel. With only 8 rooms you receive the best service from staff. Food was Italian and fantastic. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish. Pool looks out over valley below. Room was next to pool and was so, so comfortable with air-conditioning. I highly recommend this hotel especially to couples who wish to get away from the stresses of work

Excellent séjour à l'hôtel ! Le personnel était incroyablement sympathique et serviable. J'ai adoré ma chambre avec une vue magnifique sur la plaine et la mer au loin. Il y a une belle piscine aussi. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel, il est très bien placé pour explorer la région des pouilles. D’une propreté impeccable et très bien équipé, les chambres sont très agréables, la vue avec la piscine, c’est juste magnifique ! Le petit déjeuner excellent avec de bons produits de la région et pour finir, le gérant et ses employés sont très sympathiques, agréables et donnent de très bons conseils. Je vous recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation.

Wonderful stay at the most beautiful sourroundings. The hotel is located at the top of a Hill with the most amazing view. Nice pool, good and clean rooms.
