Great location and quiet. Rooms were spotless. Parking was a big issue and communication on checking in was difficult. We prepaid for parking and we were given a bad copy of a map to the parking lot. It took us considerable time to find the lot which seemed like a mile or so away. Trying to enter the lot the code we were given could not be used. Back to the hotel, and the hotel took care of the car. Kunas, is a developing town. In a few years it maybe worthwhile but for now, things were rather sparse.

Breakfast was disappointing, I had read reviews about the excellent breakfast but the eggs were awful, bread was poor and the beans were beyond dry. The staff in the breakfast area were not welcoming, not one made eye contact or said good morning or even nodded at us. When we checked out we were asked if we used the room bar which we did, we paid for the couple of drinks and that was it, no thanks for your custom, no hope you had a pleasant stay, absolutely nothing not even a goodbye, it was really weird and although the hotel is in a great location we definitely wouldn't return.

Overall a nice place and helpfull staff. We were disappointed with our room due to the jacuzzi water being dirty.

The hotel is ok, very hard to find..Even when you are in the street it is not obvious the doorway is hidden which is very strange. I felt it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make tea/coffee. The breakfast was very basic. Was surprised how little there was to do in Kaunas actually, (the second biggest city to the capital Vilnius which was much more interesting) Kaunas was like a ghost town.

Clean room

Amazing place, this is our go to hotel in Kaunas. Receptionist upon arrival gave us all the info on where to go for Užgavénés. Breakfast amazing as usual, and please thank our Ukrainian host for her attentive service yesterday. Apologies for forgetting names! Temperatures of -21C but our room was warm and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was amazing. We’ll be back soon.

The hotel is in a great position for the Town Square that is only a couple of minutes away. It is however very quiet and attractive and has been thoughtfully designed. Our room had a balcony and was very clean and comfortable although the beds weren’t made up on two occasions. The breakfasts had a reasonable choice and the staff were always efficient. This was a second visit to the hotel so I would most certainly recommend it.

Not easy to find location

Stayed two nights at the Daugirdas Hotel and it was exactly what I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good size for a solo traveller. Traditional décor but everything felt well-kept and cosy. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Great location near the Old Town — easy to walk everywhere. Didn’t try the restaurant so can’t comment, but overall very good value for money. Would happily stay again for a short trip.

Helpful staff, big room and lovely breakfast

Check in was fine and staff were friendly. We had to change rooms after one night but this was sorted promptly and very efficiently done. The room (with balcony) which we had for a week was very clean however the team cleaning the room didn't make up our bed particularly well on a couple of occasions (1st world problem I know!). We ate in the restaurant on one occasion and the food was ok. Waiting staff weren't the friendliest but I guess they'd had a long day and wanted to get finished. Overall, a great location if you are visiting Kaunas old town. Would we stay there again, yes.

The property was very convenient for the river and the old town centre, with many of the attractions and bsrs and csfes within easy walking distance

Nice hotel with blend of old and new building. Good breakfast. Hotel parking not existing so need to park on the street, which can be expensive or not easy to find free of charge (late hours and nights) spot. However, hotel staff advice on this matter.

Excellent reception staff. Our room was spacious and quiet. There’s a nice park nearby with a beautiful playground for kids, and many restaurants nearby.
