Yes staffs was very friendly

I won’t back to this hotel just because they don’t help you to take the luggage to the room, they don’t even let you to take your car near to the building, we had to take the luggages far from the car on the snow… it was a bad experience. Luckily the room was pretty good.

Great views

Booked the Aurora Bubble and upon checking in we were advised that there’s no shower in the room. In order to take a shower we had to book a time slot at the sauna (separate building). Incredibly disappointing since this was not clear on the website. The room itself is the smallest room ever, even opening the suitcases was a big struggle. The main feature of our room was the glass dome, and when it snows this gets cleaned by the staff around 6pm. If it snows again, it doesn’t get cleared again. We booked the “Meet the reindeers” and the Snowmobiles tour, they cost €130 pp per tour and are non refundable. Both tours were meant to be 2,5 hours long but the Reindeer one lasted barely just over an hour and was incredibly disappointing. The reindeer farm is only 5 minutes away by sleigh, we got there, fed the reindeers, got told a bit about them, got taken out on a sleigh ride which lasted about 4 to 5 minutes, and then got offered some hot juice. Lastly, we were shown how to catch a reindeer, and that was that… again, €130 pp for that. The snowmobile lasted a couple of hours, but again since only my partner drove the actual snowmobile and I was only a passenger I don’t see how they can charge €130 pp for that. Lastly, the whole place smells like sewers, which is absolutely disgusting while walking to the restaurant. Only positive was the food: the buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was delicious and always somewhat sticking to traditional finnish cuisine.

This was an awesome resort with lots of activities to choose from. We enjoyed the husky sled ride, meet the reindeer, and the Aurora camp. We could see the lights from our bubble room. Absolutely perfect time. Make sure upon arrival though that your get briefed, fitted for a snow jumpsuit and boots, and check board at reception for activity times for the following day.

Gorgeous little cabin, warm and cosy with perfect location. Service good in the main lodge. Food and drinks were expensive. Trips were fun with great guides!

You can’t get away from the fact that everything costs a fortune. Consider bringing a little of your own food/ alcohol. Having said that, one of the best holidays we have ever had. We avoided the husky riding / reindeer sledging because couldn’t find any info on welfare standards but the snowshoeing was great!

Stayed in the Log Cabin Suite. Wonderful cosy room for 2 with a second floor that can sleep more. Could see the huskies returning from their excursions each day. Shower is not enclosed so you have to dry the floor after a bath. Sauna was very spacious. Bed was comfortable with soft pillows. Breakfast buffet was good with a large variety of food, but if you stay more days then it would be repetitive. The potatoes in Lapland are so so good - sweet and perfectly textured, wish I ate more of them.

The Hotel is remote & surrounded by beautiful frozen lakes. The buffet breakfast was very good and also the 3 course evening meal we purchased separately from the room was also very good. Nothing we didn’t like.

This was a wonderful experience. We stayed in a bubble and saw the lights from our room. This is glamping so the bed felt more like a cot and the bathroom was like an indoor outhouse but it all worked.

Absolutely gorgeous property. We stayed in the bubble and it was perfect. We had a clear view of the northern lights from our bed when it got to cold to stay outside.

This trip was the experience of a lifetime. This hotel is absolutely amazing from the staff, to the rooms, the food and the activities. Would 1000% recommend.

Evet perfect

The hotel is very comfortable, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere of the lodge is the best. I stayed at Snowdome for 4 nights, and the room was warm and spacious, and I could see the aurora while relaxing in bed! But a dog sled passed in front of the room, so I went to see it, and there was a person who was excited as if he was riding a “roller coaster” with his hands off. He said something to me, but it was not an audible distance, and I thought it was dangerous and moved away a little. It seems that the sled didn't brake, and suddenly, the empty sled started running, leaving the driver behind. I was very scared. Should always follow the instructor's instructions when participating in activities that play in nature. I'm glad it didn't become a big accident.…
