Can Guillo needs a bit of a modernization as everything looks quite old. To start with, there is no aircon in the rooms, they give you an electric fan that is very noisy which makes impossible to leave it on throughout the night and it gets really hot. The windows in the room are really small which means there is no air/proper ventilation. The fridge in the room is also very old, we had to unplug it due to the noise. The breakfast is also questionable, there were flies all over it... For us the best things were the location which stunning and the staff who were really lovely and accommodating.

Can Guilo is a beautiful farm location in the country, near Pollenca. The room was simple enough and the breakfast, generous. But there was no air conditioning with 90 degree summer temperatures. This made sleeping very uncomfortable, and we will re-think staying there during this season in the future.

We're just returned from a 5 night stay at this beautiful finca. The setting is absolutely stunning, hidden away in the Tramuntana mountains surrounded by lush gardens and fruit trees. It really is a little piece of paradise. The rooms are spacious with a shared kitchen and we had our own bathroom with shower over bath. There were no issues with hot water or pressure. There is no air con, only a large fan but we managed as the finca is largely shaded to keep the building cool. We loved this place. My only downside was the beds were uncomfortable, hard mattresses with rubbish pillows and this made for an uncomfy sleep, which impacted a little on my enjoyment. That said, it was easy to relax around the pool or drive to one of several sandy beaches. I would definitely recommend getting a car if you stay here, the island is easy to navigate and you can drive to Puerto de Pollensa in around 20 minutes and it's beautiful with lots of nice restaurants by the beach. I didn't struggle at all to find vegetarian food, both the delicious, fresh breakfasts at the finca and the nearby veggie restaurants (Bellaverde was a favourite). Overall, a wonderful and relaxing trip at this hidden gem. Perhaps, some new beds/pillows could be considered as this would make this place absolutely perfect!
