Nice hotel and entertainment staff but grass area around pool very dirty and drinks ant the bar very limited and not good at all

Overall ok ,food was of poor quality ,too much fried or deep fried , hot plates were not hot , all food that was supposed to be hot was like warm at best. The facilities were generally good , pools , terrace es and furniture,general outside areas, and clean and litter free,however ,lots of cats around ,and in the heat a pungent smell of cat poo around gardens . Drinks in all cases were poor quality. Rooms were spacious and the bathroom had shower and baths in them . Overall would not book again , needs to improve food / drinks standards and quality

The staff were very polite and helpful and the Animation team were excellent. My only criticism was the food. Beautifully presented but often bland.

LIKE: It was clean enough overall DISLIKE: Not a 4 star property / very bland food and drink / Zone 2 was too noisy and our room was in this Zone.

Lovely resort. Handy for Meloneras and Playa. Could have done with an Adult Only pool. Breakfast and lunch were great. Wasn’t impressed with the dinner selection.

What a lovely few days at the Koala. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were of a good size, and very clean throughout. The food was ok, plenty of variety for each meal. The service at the bar was good. The drinks were of course not 'premium brands' being an all inclusive hotel. Was a little disappointed that the cocktails were ready made in boxes. Would have been nice for them to be prepared at the time. A shame that there were not more tables and chairs around the bar area outside. The high tables were plenty, but the stools are hardly comfortable! The proximity to the roads made for a little noise coming from the traffic, but nothing too bad. I would definitely visit again though, and especially at this time of year to get some winter sun.

Lovely hotel. Quiet and tranquil location with nice accommodation set in different “zones” with only 2 levels. Only faults are that food was not very hot and drinks served in paper cups with cocktails from a pump so doesn’t feel very luxurious.

The space. Peace and quiet. Helpful staff. Clean communal areas.

Staff are fabulous and very accommodating the hotel is very clean animation team excellent. I think the hotel needs to invest in a larger area for the pool bar it is very small for the size of the hotel

The apartments and poolside areas. However entertainment was poor with nothing for adults. The pool bar wasn’t great and the only food options were left overs from meal times. Could have been more choice during meal times as well

On our arrival to the room, we noticed the shower was dirty (paint was peeling off the walls and there was mould in the shower) we reported this to the hotel and they said they would send somebody over but nobody came... we also had cockroaches in our bathroom. Not something I was looking for. The room itself wasn’t the cleanest either, the lamp shades had lots of dust and webs on them same with the skirting boards. Wardrobes were clean just had a weird smell. The beds were also clean but so firm we slept on our duvets. The curtains in the room has blood on them (I’m asuming it’s from the mosquitos people have killed) and they had not been washed which wasn’t so nice. The hotel also claims that they feed the cats (says it on the information papers they give you when you check in, but when we talked to some staff, they said they used to feed the cats but they no longer do so. Bowls were empty and dirty so we were feeding the cats when we stayed. Food was alright overall. Breakfast was always the same, lunch and dinners differed. There were times where the food was cold or missing but that’s due to lack of staff, not the chefs fault. Same in the beach bar, every day the food mostly the same. And after around 5pm there was no more hot dogs or burgers, just ham and cheese toasties. Don’t think the hotel deserves the 4* compared to other hotels we have stayed at with the same star rating have had better standards, food and overall experience.

Overall the koala garden was excellent. Food was particularly good. Though... A week of it was plenty, beer and wine were particularly good. Staff were excellent. But woe betide you if you get caught feeding any of the cats that are running round your feet in the outside dining area. Swimming pool hours were draconian, which was a shame as I like to swim before breakfast and when I get back after a day out. The area is a bit sparse, so unless you want to stay at the hotel and not go out much... Be prepared for some long walks or hire a car

Really enjoyed our stay in this friendly , well kept hotel. Food was very good and the heated swimming pools really added to our enjoyment.

Defo will come back to Koala Garden, my son and I had an amazing days there! 100% recommended for a family break, the kids have lots of activities to have fun and also adults. The food was very good and a lovely staff!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Was a bit cautious regarding other reviews e.g. restaurant always being full & having to sit outside and be inundated with cats. We never struggled and saw a maximum of 6 cats the whole stay. Food was delicious and hot each meal - never had a boiling hot meal on a buffet style meal before so never expected it to be boiling. We both thoroughly enjoyed all meals. Room was modern and clean.

Hotel Koala Garden was a fantastic place to stay for our 4 night winter sunshine getaway. Never having experienced all-inclusive before we couldn't fault it. The service was fantastic, all the food was very tasty and the bar was great. All drinks were proper measures and the help-yourself soft drinks and snacks was very welcome. All the staff were really friendly and geuniely wanted to help and the whole complex was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious with a balcony, my only complaint would be that as all the rooms faced the central pool and entertainment area, getting to sleep in the evening if you weren't involved in the entertainment was tricky because of the noise. But otherwise a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend.
