Toilet broken

Booked for 4 nights, family of 3 adults. Checked in ok, we needed to eat quite early (5pm) and get out at 6pm for the Coldplay concert. We could not get any food at the hotel, after asking at reception and trying room service there was nothing available. The thing with the hotel being so isolated it is not easy to go out and get a quick bite, so zero stars for that. Our room on floor 24 is incredibly noisy due to an ill fitting window, you can hear everything outside. It’s been reported but 3 days later no action noted. The shower is terrible and broke as soon as my wife tried it. I managed to repair it but the knob that came off is still very fragile, we have been using the hand held unit. Pool bar service. The 3 of us sat for 30 mins, no service. My Son got up and brought drinks from the bar and was told there’s waiter service! Ha! I drank my drink looked round for a waiter… went to the bar only to be told there’s water service! Needless to say I told the 3 girls (waitresses) I’ve been here 50 mins you have come nowhere near me or my family, to which I got back “oh” no apologies or “ sit back down I’ll be right there” I then bought drinks and sat in my spot. The pool waiter then proceeded to ignore us for the next hour but served everyone else. My wife and I thought we would go to the rooftop bar and have a drink. Walked in and sat at one of the numerous vacant tables. 10 minutes passed and a waitress approached and asked if we had been in that bar before, we replied no. We

Booked on Expedia. We booked this hotel due to the proximity of Budweiser Stage for Russ’s Concert. Our check-in time was for 4:00 p.m, me and the people I travelled with arrived quite a bit earlier than we thought. The common area was very busy, but we were still met with an earlier check-in of 3:00 p.m. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were nice and spacious, and the view accompanied by two cozy chairs and a small table were also a nice touch. It is a rather prestigious hotel to stay at, so the price of $800.00 was to be expected, I will add that it was split between four people, and was very convenient for location purposes. However, the reason I am leaving 3 stars is for the fifth guest we had on the ceiling after being told “the room is going through it’s final inspection process”. It took us about two minutes to notice after one of the staff members left. Staying at a 5 Star Luxury Hotel, we all expected a room free of any odours, stains, pests and so on. They had met our expectation with everything except the bug. (We just killed it ourselves, it wasn’t a huge deal and didn’t want to contact staff at the time because we had already waited some time for a room, and didn’t want to have to wait for another one over a small bug. I thought to mention it anyway, because it still was a very small concern). Another thing to note, when or if you stay here, make sure to keep the small things in your memory, like parking and security deposit payments.

Overall I would recommend this hotel. I would say if it’s nice outside and you want to eat/drink outside by the pool to make sure you call ahead, the restaurant and pool are separate so you can’t order

Everything was great. There was one white sock in our room. That was strange but our stay was wonderful

This is the second time we stayed here and it was much better than the first. If you’re seeing a concert at the Budweiser stage I can’t recommend this hotel more. It is pricey but worth the convenience (and comfort) if you can do it. The staff was very nice and very helpful.

Everything was great! The only thing that was a little difficult for us was the lack of food options in the area. A more simplified menu, especially for late night ordering, would be great!

Overall we had an excellent experience at hotel X. The decor is gorgeous and the staff are absolutely phenomenal. Our check in and out were quick, easy & informative. We were offered a reservation at the rooftop pool right away and they helped us make a reservation at the rooftop restaurant Valerie as well. We were given free bottled water on arrival and there was more bottled water in the room as well as a delicious assortment of espresso pods for the machine & lovely L’occitane toiletries. Our view of Lake Ontario was awesome. Valerie was incredible, the best meal we’ve had since we were in Iceland! The views are breathtaking & again the staff couldn’t have been better. We loved the deep soaker tub & the bath salts were a really nice touch. We were brought an ice bucket for the cocktails we brought with us & had no trouble getting a late night uber eats delivery to our room. The beds were also unnaturally comfortable for a hotel. The proximity to Budweiser stage is perfect as we were in town for a concert and it’s a lovely, short walk. The price of the basic double queen room we had does feel a bit insane , at $600 a night after a discount it’s the most I’ve ever spent on accommodation Anywhere by a couple hundred dollars at least but with all the perks I guess i can’t complain too much, just know We drank all that water, all that espresso and took al the toiletries with us :P The additional $35 + tax parking fee is the 1 thing that truly pissed us off. WHY??

Great stay once again at hotel X!

They canceled my anniversary dinner with 15 minutes warning. They didn’t even offer to rebook us at another restaurant on premises, despite knowing it was our wedding anniversary

This hotel feels like 5 star but not the service. Arrived early for check in and was informed that we would get text when ready. Did not get text. Had to go back in and check and room was ready. Asked for a late check out as we just needed 1 extra hour. Was informed not possible right away or even questioned how much longer we need. We had a package being delivered to hotel and informed them of the package and they told us they would accept it, we spoke about this multiple times. Get a call from delivery driver saying hotel will not accept package because we checked out. It’s decent hotel, but it’s not a 5 star hotel service like Park Hyatt or Ritz
