There are many H10 hotels located in Barcelona. H10 Cubik looks more upscale and contemporary but on a busy street, so we chose H10 Madison about 2.5 blocks away. It’s a great location and quieter. We booked 5 rooms. Don’t expect them to accommodate you if you arrive even just a bit before their 3pm check-in. My sister was about to give up and switch hotels when they suddenly had a room available for her. My jet lag was awful due to weather delays, etc but they would not accommodate me with an early check-in, no matter how much I begged for even an hour or two earlier than 3pm. Regarding the rooms: they are spacious as are the bathrooms. Furnishings are average. There are plenty of outlets, hairdryer and large shower. Unfortunately, our shower drain did not function so water overflowed into the bathroom. I attempted to clean out the drain on my first night - which is gross to clean other people’s gunk. But the drain was clear yet it didn’t work because the shower flooded the vanity area even worse the next day. I spread both of the bath towels, robes, and hand towels on the flooded floor & notified the hotel. They fixed the drain but hung up the filthy robes and towels. Gross. The housekeeper left the dirty robes, towels, & also dirty dishes that were on the floor and on the small table. I appreciate that the hotel sent a bottle of champagne with an apology but there were too many negatives to ever return including the rotten egg smell in my nephew’s room and in-law’s shower.

The H10 Madison is well located in the Gothic Quarter, just down the street from the Cathedral of Barcelona. The staff was very friendly, helpful & courteous. Our room had windows that looked out toward the cathedral, and it was quite roomy with a wonderful modern bathroom. The rooftop restaurant and lap pool was a special place to view the city from and enjoy a good drink. As we were there the first week of November, it was quite chilly at night. The hotel indoor restaurant was available in the morning for a large buffet breakfast. There was a wonderful Italian restaurant just 2 doors down. I would recommend this hotel!

The concierge Albert was amazing!! Extremely knowledgeable and efficient and friendly. He went out of his way to provide us with our luggage tags. He always had a smile on his face. He is an excellent representative for H10.

Location was great. Cleanliness couldve been better upon looking closer than the first glance. Staff wasnt helpful at all. Any time we asked for a suggestion or help with direction we were told to ‘plan in advance better’ and given no other advice or help.

Debora at the front desk was amazing. She gave us dinner recommendation that we would never have found on our own and the food was incredible. The location was perfect. Close to lots of great restaurants, the Gothic quarter, the port, la Rambla. The hotel even surprised my husband on his birthday with sparkling wine and chocolate cake sent to our room. All the staff we dealt with went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The rooftop terrace was also an amazing place. 365 views of the city, great food and drinks plus the staff where great!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location

Evelyn at the front was very friendly and helpful. Oriol in the dining room was outstanding, great service, friendly and funny. Rooms were beautiful as was the rooftop and lounge areas.

Everything was great! Location was perfect for walking to most sights, super quiet room, and friendly, helpful staff. Many restaurant and shopping options nearby. Will definitely recommend and would return!
