The hotel staff is friendly, the location is close to Ubud City but the bathroom smells and is not very clean.

Comfortable atmosphere... It's just that there is a lack of maintenance and there are not enough employees to carry things from the car/room so you are forced to carry your own things from the room to the car.

All staff are friendly, breakfast is a la carte but plentiful, varied, delicious. Satisfactory service. The hotel is cool, shady, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, can do lung therapy, good facilities, spacious parking, there are 2 swimming pools. We went there and took a junior suite, when we opened the door to the room, we immediately saw a view of the swimming pool, there is a garden, and a forest around the hotel.

The staff are all friendly. Minus the wifi that often disconnects, for the beverage I thought it was made from real fruit but it turned out to be packaged but its ok. The menu even though I was asked to choose at the beginning of check in and had been noted down but was still wrong at breakfast time

The only downside is that the room booked did not match reality, otherwise it was fine.

The resort complex is beautiful, and the public areas are well maintained. Note that it is about a 20 minute drive from town, and there’s nothing in the area within walking distance. The price of a Grab ride into town is cheap, but it’s something to keep in mind. My experience of the room itself was really disappointing. The bathroom smells strongly of mold. The design of the bathroom is rather poor (e.g., the floor of the shower is flat rather than angled toward the drain, so water tends to sit and cause mold). I visited two rooms during my stay and both of them had this issue. The hotel’s procedural remediation is to leave the bathroom fan and the air conditioning running at all times, even when the room has no one staying there; obviously this is a very poor idea ecologically. Short of renovating the bathrooms to resolve the structural issues I anticipate the mold issue only worsening over time. If not for this then my stay would have been great, but under the circumstances I recommend that you stay elsewhere.

Clean room, good breakfast, nice view, but no mat. I asked for one but it was not given. So the room was wet after taking a shower.

The vibes of the environment are nice, the room taken is a private 2 bedroom, very private. but unfortunately there is a room charge rule for breakfast delivery to the room, and the plan is to order pizza but it is only available at 1 pm. it's a shame that it should be the hotel's income with us shopping for food but it is hampered by the lunch hour rule. but well, it has become a policy rule. so that it can be input only. btw okay, the place is nice. oh yes, the additional private pool is too deep 150 cm for children so they can't swim.

atmosphere, and beautiful and natural environment

Coming back to Ashoka after the pandemic. There are some things that need to be improved and I didn't find them again on my arrival this time. First we arrived we weren't given a welcome drink, either we forgot or didn't get it, but everywhere when staying at a hotel we will be given a welcome drink. We were asked to wait 15 minutes because we added an extra bed in the room, after the EB was setup, we were given a room key (manual key) along with a safety box key (manual key), sure enough when we arrived at the room it turned out that the RFID key and safety box didn't work so we had to use a manual key. The balcony door also couldn't be locked, I tried it with the 4 manual keys provided, so the balcony wasn't locked during my stay. For cleanliness needs to be improved. The gym has become a warehouse even though there are still 2 exercise bikes in it. For breakfast it's delicious, and my little child gets free breakfast. If in the past when we first went there, when we came home our vehicle looked clean (cleaned) and was given canang, but for now we didn't find that. Thank you Ashoka for the experience of staying there, the children are very happy to stay there

I was sick and carried my own suitcase, waiting for housekeeping to come. Checking in from afternoon to evening, changing rooms 3 times because I was given the wrong room. Then the 3 ginger teas should have been complimentary but instead they were billed to my wife. Very negligent

Very comfortable resort. Suitable for staycation. To the hotel you need to enter ±100 meters through a rather small road but still enough for 1 car. The breakfast is not a buffet but various breakfast styles are provided according to taste, can be Indonesian, western, and others.

I stayed at this hotel and experienced several problems that were quite disturbing to my comfort. First, the lights on the balcony of the room did not work, and when I asked for repairs, the hotel said that there were no engineering staff on duty at that time. This was quite disappointing because the room facilities should always be in good condition, or at least there should be a solution that can be provided immediately. In addition, my room's RFID key also had problems and could not be used, so I was given a manual key to gain access to the room. This was quite inconvenient, especially after a long trip. As a guest, I expect more responsive service and the hotel team's readiness to handle technical problems like this. Hopefully in the future the hotel can improve service standards and ensure that facilities are in optimal condition for guest comfort.
