Early check-in is allowed, the top room has a pool view, the kids are happy.

Overall, the hotel is pretty good. However, it needs a repaint and the old tiles replaced to prevent it from feeling shabby and creepy.

Reception staff need training. If they're not doing their job half-heartedly, it's best not to, as they're the front line, welcoming guests, ensuring their comfort and providing positive reviews. The rest comes down to cleanliness and other aspects.

Even though it's an old building, staying overnight on the 5th floor was quite comfortable, the room and facilities worked well.

This hotel always brings back nostalgic memories of family time during my childhood. It was once the largest, most luxurious, and most expensive hotel in Anyer. When I stayed, the hotel was undergoing renovations and rejuvenation of its facilities and infrastructure. I stayed in the Presidential Suite, which had also been renovated. Some aspects of the renovation may need to be fixed, such as the water in the bathroom not flowing towards the drain. Beach access and water sports activities remain the best and most comprehensive among other hotels. Other facilities, such as tennis courts, badminton courts, and a swimming pool, can be fully utilized. The myth of being haunted is just that, a myth. Hopefully, this hotel can soon return to its original condition when it was still managed by Sol Elite management.

I stayed in Deluxe Suite 5509 on the 5th floor. The room is spacious, with a dining table, living room, and sofa bed. There are 2 balconies with a sea view, although from the side. There is a bathtub, pantry, and refrigerator. It's iconic with an old hotel, but it's still quite good. The AC is leaking and very noisy in the room. The floor is very dirty on the feet if you don't wear sandals. The hallway to the room looks deserted, but not scary. The pool is clean, with a bar attached to the pool. There's a sunset viewing area while listening to live music (on Saturday nights). If you want to go to the beach, it's very close, there are lots of food and beachwear for sale. There are many paid water sports (jet skis, banana boats, ATVs). The beach is quite clean... not bad even though it's an old hotel.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the facilities are quite complete, making it a great place for kids. The downside is the beach is full of vendors.

Everything was fine. Got upgraded to a deluxe room because the room was being cleaned and wasn't ready yet, even though it was already 3 PM. The AC in the room was good and cold. Unfortunately, the hot water didn't work. The refrigerator also needed repair. The bottom of the refrigerator wasn't cold. The TV worked and the WiFi was good too.

The best, the staff is friendly. The environment is clean.

Everything is okay except the breakfast menu is very lacking in variety.

The room was spacious and clean, with a pantry, a large, cold refrigerator, and cool air conditioning. The bathroom had a bathtub, but no hot water. There were no hotel slippers. The swimming pool was large and clean, with a sea view. It's right next to the beach, so you can go straight to the beach after swimming. Breakfast was delicious, but the food variety wasn't as extensive as other 4-star hotels.

If it was renovated again, it would probably be more comfortable.

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Breakfast was the same every day, and the air conditioning was good, cool, and spacious. However, because it's an older hotel, the room felt like a 3-star hotel. The service was friendly and okay.

Behind the beach, just a short walk, very close.

This hotel needs a total renovation...I will return if the hotel is better...the food is really good...the vendors are not comfortable on the beach

I stayed yesterday in an executive suite on a weekend. The service, from the front gate, through check-in, and throughout my stay, was quite satisfactory. We requested several things, and the housekeeping team responded promptly. Overall, I was quite satisfied. Of course, there are a lot of things that need improvement, especially in the room facilities. It's obvious from the outside. But nothing too disturbing. The horror stories are far from it. Luckily, it was busy, so the occupancy rate was quite good. My family and I loved the beach area the most. Hopefully, if the facilities are improved and we find another partner, we can stay there again.

It's a fun place for a family vacation.
