This location makes it easy to walk to several eateries and convenience stores. Access from the train station is also quite easy by motorbike taxi or online taxi. Cleanliness (8/10): The room and public areas are relatively clean. The floor, linens, and bathroom are cleaned daily by housekeeping. There was a small amount of dust in the corner of the room on the first day, but it was immediately cleaned after being reported to the receptionist. Room Comfort (7/10): The room size is standard for a 2-star hotel — not particularly spacious, but sufficient for two people with travel bags. The bed was clean and comfortable, although the pillows were a bit flat and not soft enough for my taste. The air conditioning worked well, and the ventilation was adequate, although there was occasional noise from outside in the corridor. Amenities (6/10): As this is a 2-star hotel, the amenities are basic but adequate: Wi-Fi is fast in the lobby area, and fairly stable in the rooms as well. TV with standard channels. Bathroom showers work well, but the hot water is sometimes intermittent. No pool or gym. Breakfast is simple—a choice of fried rice, omelet, bread, and fruit. The food tastes average, nothing special, but it's a decent way to start the day. Service (8/10): Hotel staff are friendly and responsive, especially at the front desk. Check-in was quick and without drama, and when I asked for extra towels, they were delivered in less than 10 minutes. Value for Money (8/10): The price is very reasonable for what you get—great location, clean rooms, and friendly service. For a short stay or business trip without the expectation of luxury amenities, this hotel is highly recommended. Cons: Limited facilities compared to 3-star hotels or higher. Noise from the corridor can sometimes be heard in the room. Breakfast could be more varied.

Comfortable, clean and friendly place

We planned to stay overnight on December 19th, we had already bought a hotel voucher, but what can we do, we have a relative (uncle who passed away), so in the end we cancelled our plans to go to Semarang, hopefully we can continue later when we can stay at the Amaris Hotel.

Worth it hotel, strategically close to everywhere

Clean rooms, cool AC, spacious parking, and a basement that keeps you out of the rain. The staff are friendly and smiling. The breakfast is delicious. Located between two malls in Semarang.

The bedsheets are already dirty white and need to be replaced with new ones. There is only one toothbrush and one hotel slipper even though there are two people in the room. There is no hair dryer in the room.

Nice hotel with affordable price. Good taste of breakfast. Good location in the city center. Good cleanliness of the hotel, please maintain it. But maybe need some improvement on the TV Channel, as some channel couldn’t be played.

The location is very strategic, close to several malls and restaurants. It's easy to access, and the breakfast is quite tasty and varied. The staff is friendly and very helpful. One thing to note is that the shower needs maintenance because the water flow is not strong enough.
