​I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lunara Home Living and overall, it was a very positive experience, making it a solid choice for travelers prioritizing comfort and location. ​The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The bed provided a great night's sleep, and the housekeeping staff deserves praise for maintaining such high standards. A major plus was the air conditioning (AC), which was ice cold—a necessity for the local climate and something I greatly appreciated. ​The hotel’s location is incredibly strategic. It offers easy access to malioboro making it the perfect base for both business and leisure activities. ​The car parking area is spacious, which is a significant advantage if you are traveling with your own vehicle. Finding a spot was never an issue. ​Furthermore, the service was excellent. The staff members were consistently friendly, professional, and went out of their way to be helpful, from check-in to check-out. They truly made the stay feel welcoming and smooth. ​On the downside, there are a couple of points to note. Firstly, the hotel does not have a swimming pool. While this wasn't a deal-breaker for me, it's something future guests should be aware of if they are looking for pool access. ​Secondly, and perhaps the most notable drawback, the rooms were not very soundproof.

The room was so clean, the staff cleaned it every day.

The area is not too noisy, quiet, the rooms are neat, serene, and clean and can be used for photos.

A very affordable price for a clean, large room with a clean bathroom complete with a heater. The parking lot is also secure and spacious, so you don't have to worry about running out of space. Thank you, hotel team. We hope you continue to maintain this excellent service.

It's too far to get anywhere. I ended up staying here because of the Google reviews. The room was okay, but the stairs made it difficult to carry a lot of things. The staff was friendly.

It was okay. Booked the room with promo price, so it was value for money. Location was okay. Quite far from the city center, but close to ambarukmo plaza and the zoo. There's no lift in the hotel. I've called the hotel and requested rooms on the lower ground 2 months before as we'd be travelling with the elders. We need rooms that is accessible, preferably, without having to use the stairs. Unfortunately, they didn't write a note or something. So, on the day we checked in, we got the rooms on the 1st floor instead of the lower ground. The reception mentioned since I didn't put any written special request, they have no information about it. They were fully booked and unable to do any changes. A bit disappointed, as what was the point calling the hotel to confirm the booking with all the details when they didn't even make a note of it. Bathroom and bed linen cleanliness could be improved. Room was clean. Bed was firm and nice All in all, it was okay. Despite the hiccups, we've enjoyed our stay.

I just need a room to study as I have difficulty staying focused. The hotel is in the city centre, near my office and near campus, yet within a housing area where I know some of the residents (therefore giving me a sense of safety) and far from traffic noises. It was my second time staying at that building (although different hotel management). But both stays were wonderful.

Overall ok & worth it for a hotel with a very affordable price, but unfortunately there is no hot/warm water at all for the shower.

The price for transit is okay. It's quite good. But this time the room smells a bit musty. The same thing that has been consistent from the past until now, the hot water is not hot. Hahaha.

The room is cramped, feels old-fashioned, the AC is not cold, I'm too lazy to move rooms because I'm too lazy to carry a lot of stuff. The breakfast is terrible, only 3 types, taste 😔 Sorry, I even ate soto in front of the hotel.

Overall very satisfied. Friendly staff. Rooms are incredibly clean. I was just disappointed that I wasn't helped with my heavy suitcase. Instead, I was just stared at 🥲

Staff friendly. Location about 10 minutes to Malioboro and 15 minutes to Tugu Station. Room spacious, I booked twin bed (for me, twin bed size is standard). Note that there is no lift, so you need to carry your luggage or ask for staff assistance (they offered this service). Thank you and nice to stay here :)

Good service, okay and fast, on the second day the hot water started to decrease so that only warm water came out. But still worth it to be staying in this hotel. Security is very fast response, 5 stars.
