Comfortable hotel, close to the city center.

I was shocked when I checked out to find the pillowcases and sheets dirty, so I contacted customer service to have them replaced. However, housekeeping was slow to respond, and I had to contact customer service twice, even though I was already tired because I checked in at 11:00. Later that night, I found the toilet's flush pressure weak, and I contacted customer service, but they told me a technician would come later. I don't know if the technician arrived because I stayed for a while to buy mineral water outside because I didn't take water from the hotel dispenser due to the dirty pitcher. When I returned from outside, the toilet flush was still the same, with no changes. The noisy AC disturbed my rest. On the second day, I was sure that when housekeeping cleaned the room, it wasn't completely cleaned because there was an insect (a dead cockroach) that I found at night, but the insect was still in that position. And in the desk drawer, I found a small insect that was still alive, which I killed by spraying hand sanitizer. A sharia hotel, but it doesn't reflect the cleanliness and suitability of the facilities...

Parking is spacious and well-organized, security service is also good, assisted with parking. Staff service is good and friendly. All inclusive, hotel facilities are complete, there is a swimming pool, playground inside the hotel and also an outdoor playground. The hotel area is spacious for walking around. Access to the elevator room is good, there are 4 elevators that are all working. The hallway to the room carpet floor seems less clean because it is brown, cleanliness can be monitored. The room is quite spacious, but the room is less clean, the bathroom is also less clean. Plus the brown color and ornaments add to the impression of being less clean. The shower handle in room 8018 was also broken and has not been replaced, but it can still be used. Sounds from outside the room are still clearly audible. For breakfast food is okay, good service, food menu is varied, from heavy meals to snacks are all available, drinks are also complete. Overall, the food at the Syariah Hotel Solo is good. All inclusive is good, but what needs to be improved is the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, the bathroom still smells a bit. Staying here with my family for the third time, with affordable prices but very kids friendly, even though the building and furnishings are old, it is still quite okay.

My first time staying at this hotel, I immediately got the approval from my 6-year-old son. Besides being Muslim-friendly, there are murrotal chants in every hallway leading to the room, prayer rooms on every floor, and Qurans in every room. My son was satisfied with the kids' pool, indoor-outdoor playground, and even a mini zoo near the playground on Saturdays. The breakfast menu choices were quite varied, unfortunately, the buffet menu was dominated by spicy dishes that day. The room cleanliness was still quite good, only the floor drain could be cleaned regularly because in the room I stayed in there was still a lot of scale around the gap. The water heater worked smoothly, no problems. For a price under 500 thousand rupiah during peak season like this long weekend, it is very worth it for a small family with children.

The location is far from the city center, even with GoCar it's at least 20 minutes away. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the rooms is prone to errors, disrupting sleep. You can use the Lorin Hotel's pool, but bring your own towels. Hopefully, things will improve in the future.

The room uses 1 large bed and the overall experience of staying is quite comfortable. The check-in process was assisted earlier around 12:30 so it was quite helpful when arriving early. The parking area is also spacious so you don't have to worry about finding a parking space. The hotel atmosphere feels cool and calm with a comfortable sharia nuance. The most impressive thing is that there is a speaker reciting the Quran and the call to prayer can be heard during prayer times, so the atmosphere feels more calming and different from ordinary hotels.
