The waiter is good but not very friendly.

The hotel is excellent for the service, cleanliness on top. I stayed 3 days and extended 3 more days. Breakfast good, fresh, they cook the food close to the times for the serving in rooms, overall satisfied. Thank you Merapi Merbabu for your hospitality. Definitely I will be back to stay in this hotel when I'm visiting Yogya. ☺

The staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out were easy, but the only downside was that the Wi-Fi didn't reach the room or the bed area. It was still accessible in front of the door or in the bathroom. Overall, it was okay...

Our Eid celebration at the Merbabu Hotel was very memorable, the atmosphere and comfort were all good, and we even got to know one of the tourists and they became our friend.

The staff is friendly, but the rooms look old and the walls aren't very clean. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in the area. The swimming pool is nice.

The paint on the walls of the room was peeling off and the TV in the room was very old with unclear cable TV broadcasts. For that price, it should have been a smart TV.

Easy access to everywhere, not too far from the city center.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Breakfast on the first day required a choice of fried rice or fried noodles, and had to be eaten in the room. The receptionist who told me about it was very aggressive, even trying to get into a debate. It didn't live up to the rating.

If I could give it a 1 rating, I would have. This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I booked a superior room, but the key had a problem and it took over an hour to get it replaced. The staff seemed indifferent and didn't even apologize at all. After I got in, the water heater didn't work, only cold water. The superior room had hot air conditioning. There wasn't even a restaurant menu in the room, so I had to call and get the menu. The facilities and service were really lacking. Complaints and criticisms to the staff also seemed trivial. Thanks for the bad experience.

The room phone didn't work, so if you needed anything, you had to go down to reception. It took ages to borrow a hairdryer.
