This was my first stay at the Maktal Hotel. It's strategically located, has a cafe and coffee bar, and offers dine-in or room service, offering a full menu of food and drinks at affordable prices. The rooms are clean and the sanitation is also excellent. Overall, I recommend it.

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the location is good, it's easy to find food....the only problem is because I got a room on the 3rd floor so it was a pain going up and down 🤣

The hotel is unprofessional, relying on interns. They asked for mineral water and toiletries and they didn't deliver them for an hour. The room was comfortable but full of mosquitoes. The AC was a bit noisy. Wi-Fi connectivity was very poor. The water was strong, but the hot water was good. Breakfast was quite good, but the fried rice was too salty.

This budget hotel in Mataram was worth the price. The room and bathroom were spacious, very clean, and pleasantly scented. Its location is strategic, close to local warungs and cafés.
