During my annual trips back to Melaka, we will usually stay at Mercury Boutique Hotel as it is affordable, and strategically located near major attraction areas, malls, and eateries. This hotel is better than Venus, its sister-hotel that's on the same row. The best selling point for us was also the hotel parking available right opposite the hotel, under the bridge/highway. It makes searching for parking stress-free, especially on weekends, where street parking is hard to find and private parking is very expensive. All we needed to do was to walk over to our destination. Generally, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the air-cond is cold enough, and there's a filtered tap to boil our drinking water as well. Sachets of coffee/tea are also provided. Food options are available within 5 min walking distance if you're not particular to have authentic Peranakan/Nyonya food; you'll get the typical mamak, Malay food, fast food, and mall restaurant chains or even the food court, all within walking distance. It's a no-frills boutique hotel that I'll recommend for short stays. Advertised photos are as-is.

Hotel is quite close to Jonker Street and malls. Room and bathroom are clean and tools are functioning well. Receptionist is friendly. It was a nice stay.

Close to Taming Sari Tower, Jonker Street, & Red Square. The city is quiet. Will come back again sometime

Experience with this hotel: Good Experience. 1) Warm welcome by front office staff (Ramya). Recommend few attraction places. 2) Housekeeping staff (foreign worker) provide service upon request for something. 3) Good location for surrounding. 4) Available private parking Infront of hotels. Not Good Experience. 1) The toilet too smelly, requested housekeeping to clean and they fixed the air fresher (coway) for whole night. Found some charcoal begs inside room to reduce the smell. 2) The door is not a soundproof until can hear other guest voice at corridor. 3) The road Infront hotel always pack with vehicles jammed. 4) No mineral water bottles provide inside room, need to refill water dispenser inside toilet?.

The design of this hotel room is very aesthetic, nice and beautiful and the facilities are modern.

Room was good. Bed & pillow were comfortable. Only need some maintenance for electric plug (all shaking) and also bathroom door.
