I actually booked an extension of my previous two-night reservation, which resulted in an unpleasant experience. As a result, I changed hotels and didn't use the room I booked.

I actually tried to keep my expectations low when I decided to stay at this hotel. But there were a few things that disappointed me: 1) I booked a family room and brought a baby, but the check-in staff didn't inform me that the room I got was a smoking room. I was forced to move to a higher class room that night and pay the price difference; 2) When I had breakfast at 8:30 a.m., the main course was already finished and no refills were offered.

There is some renovation work that is a bit annoying.

I really appreciate Hotel Alia for still employing senior staff at the reception. I recommend this hotel for travelers visiting the Cikini area. The hotel is right across from Taman Ismail Marzuki, family-friendly, and close to various restaurants and cafes. The price is very affordable, and I think it's quite good for the facilities provided. The only downside is the elevator, which doesn't seem to have sensors; my hand almost got caught if the staff hadn't helped me 🥲. For my next trip to the Cikini area, I will choose Hotel Alia again to stay with my family.

The hotel staff was friendly and the service was good. We stayed for two nights, and the room was comfortable, but we didn't ask for the view. When we opened the wall, we did. If we stay here again, we'll definitely ask for the view.
