Hello, I stayed here for a vacation in Yogya. The service was good and friendly. The breakfast variety was standard, and the taste was still acceptable. Things that need to be improved (sorry I didn't include photos): 1. The room's drainage (I used room no. 704), the water drainage is old so when the bath and shower are on, the water stagnates for a long time. 2. The towels are no longer suitable in my opinion. They are worn out at the edges, the fabric is rough. 3. The room is said to be non-smoking but when I first entered it smelled a bit of cigarettes or vape. 4. Parking is limited, when it's busy, cars can be parked on the side of the road.

The towels needed replacing, they were worn out. The hot water wasn't hot for a while, but it was immediately addressed. There was no kettle.

The hotel staff was friendly, and it was close to Pakuwon Mall. The breakfast was standard 3-star, but lacking in variety. The bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working properly. We worked around this by rarely opening the bathroom door. Overall, I recommend staying in Gejayan. A room with twin beds cost around 400 IDR plus an extra bed of 250,000 IDR, which was quite good. Thank you, Yellow Star, for taking the time to accommodate us.

This hotel is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable room just for relaxing.

I had a memorable stay at Yellow Star Gejayan after booking via the app. The price is very affordable, but the facilities and service are not disappointing at all. The location is strategic, and the surrounding area has many culinary options. My favorite part is the rooftop cafe; it's a great place to relax after a day of exploring Yogyakarta. The rooms are clean, the air conditioning is cool, and the internet is fast. Recommended hotel!

The area near the toilet and sink is always flooded during showers. Please be careful when using the toilet, as you might slip if there's standing water.

My recommendation is, it's really worth it to stay here, the service is okay, and the room is also clean, the only downside is that some of the sheets are yellowing, but it's still safe because I brought a beach cloth to use as a base for the sheets hehe. Hopefully, the cleanliness of the sheets will be improved next time 🙏
