If there’s a scale from 1-10 for this I would rate this -3. Yes minus. For the attitude of the owner/manager. This place is right on the main street-side so instead of hearing the waves you have constant trucks and cars. Foods are basic to instant noodle and fried rice to reco only when you’re starving. At first I thought it’s ok, and the establishment seems new and well taken care of, the staffs are nicer than the manager. The manager has no hospitality knowledge, doesn’t welcome people and the only time she greeted me in the morning is for directly requesting me to switch rooms, not even asking if the sleep was ok or how was her guest. She went saying sorry that the room has been booked by other family. She said she would asked the staff to move my things and to ensure that I left the key later. Sounds like a force to move out to me, I have told them I don’t wanna move my things around. She said sorry informally. The worst host I have ever met. I don’t mind moving if that was informed during check in while she was there when we’re checked in but we thought she was another guest as she was not even greeting us welcome nor asking nicely. I booked via app for a price of 4 person occupating in 2 rooms expecting to have more space and not end up being treated as single person occupancy even more being transferred as they wish. They should’ve know that diving trip involves messy stuffs and gears, and it’s very inconvenient being told to move in the middle of our stay. We left that place after that incident, the staffs said sorry but the manager didn’t even made any attempt apologizing. Anyway, we found pretty good rooms right in front of padang bay beach with the sounds of the waves and sunshines and nice crowds. Stay down the beach for friendly people and stay away from unfriendly host.
