It was a bit disappointing, especially since the food had no flavor. Maybe the chef was replaced.

Upon check-in, they didn't ask if they wanted smoking or non-smoking, so they gave me a smoking room. This was despite bringing my 93-year-old parent. As a result, I developed asthma and shortness of breath. Only after complaining was I given a non-smoking room. But not a twin, as they were out of stock. They ended up adding an extra bed. Breakfast wasn't as comprehensive as usual, and the food was bland.

I stayed for an academic convention for two days. The room was spacious and cozy. To be honest, when I got in, the bedsheets were a little yellow, and my mother and I got bitten by something in the sheets. However, the staff was very friendly and resourceful. I requested to change the bedsheets, and they told me they'd change them all. You can swim or use the gym in the meantime. The AC was cold, and overall it's a relaxing stay.

The toilet sink was cracked. The pillows and covers looked like they needed replacing. The bathroom door was peeling, and the ceiling was also cracked. I got a room at the end of the room, and the carpet was visibly dirty and dusty. Perhaps it would be better to consider renovating the room. I had requested a birthday greeting for my son, as I was taking him on a staycation for his birthday. But the receptionist immediately declined. If one of the goals is to be a local tourist destination, you might consider simply sending a greeting for guests. The food is delicious and the staff are quite friendly.

This is the first time I've been to a hotel where the lights went out for so long. The room was listed as two people, but the room wasn't prepared for two. There was no soap provided, and the door wouldn't lock because it was broken.
