I slept really late because I was busy until late at night and I could only enter the room at 9:00 PM. I wanted to wake up late, right? Then there was a room boy who was cleaning the room of someone who had checked out who turned on his handy talky on the 5th floor in front of the elevator very loudly. He left it on his trolley. The handy talky should have been put in their pocket. I finally woke up and I reprimanded the first one.. it turned out the sound was loud... I reprimanded him again, a bit shouted at him, but the handy talky was only turned down at around 8:00 AM... really bad. No ethics at all

A highly recommended hotel for those visiting Yogyakarta. It's strategically located in the heart of Malioboro, and within walking distance to bakpia souvenir shops. The staff are all very friendly. If I were to return to Yogyakarta, Amaris Malioboro would be my first choice.

The location and service are excellent. We requested a room facing the busy street, and all the rooms we chose were upgraded to a family room at no additional cost. The kids were delighted. The food was varied, with plenty of choices, and everything was delicious. It's very close to Malioboro, less than a 5-minute walk. Thank you very much.

Simple 2 stars hotel with very minimum amenities. There is no fridge, only 1 chair in the room and no side bed desk thus not enough space to put two persons belongings. Tried to borrow hair dryer, but to no avail. Good thing about this place. it is in the middle of malioboro road for those who wants to shop. However malioboro and many places in jogya are actually quite over priced even for persons who speak indonesian. The breakfast was quite actually quite nice and broad selection

There's no kettle in the room to make coffee or hot drinks, so you have to leave the room if you want hot water

Arrived at the hotel at 7 am. I was immediately greeted by the staff. I said I wanted to leave my suitcase and register so that when I checked in at 2 pm I could go straight to my room. The check-out process was very fast, and I was still allowed to leave my suitcase again because the train schedule was at night.
