Everything was great, it was my second visit with my family for a staycation. I'll list a few suggestions and criticisms:
1. Establish a rule that every guest must dry off after swimming and change into dry clothes before returning to their room. Some guests, without using the provided towels, walked to the elevator dripping wet, soaking the entire hallway and elevator. This is very dangerous for other guests, as they could slip on a wet elevator.
2. The play area near the billiards and the access door to the archery park. Please provide lighting and visible floor markings, as many of the steps are invisible at night, making it a high risk for tripping.
3. The main car entrance (tap-in) is not clearly visible without an Aston sign. If a car is coming from the opposite direction, visitors cannot clearly see the tap-in car entrance due to the lack of an Aston sign. I even had to turn around twice following the map because there was no clear sign.
4. Convenience in the Barata restaurant area. During dinner with my family, the room temperature was very uncomfortable. My family and I felt hot. I didn't ask for it to be as cold as a refrigerator, just adequate air conditioning.
5. Variety of beverage flavors at breakfast. If you provide a variety of juices, it would be better if they weren't too sweet. Of the many juices available, all of them are very sweet. Or provide juice options without added sugar; just one juice is enough.
6. Room amenities. Please provide a place to put the hand soap. I'm confused about where to put the bar soap you provide. If I put it on the sink counter, it would be very unhygienic. Provide a small plate/container to put the bar soap, or just provide liquid hand soap.
